After all the problems with extending or not
extending the license in episode 11, the broadcast continues..
Unfortunately, the novelty has worn off for
the staff - and people rarely do the work they're rostered for.
Granger is happy that the broadcast has
continued.. giving Raw FM more opportunity for ratings and revenue,
but even he can see that the station still just on the edge of being a
huge success.
It needs a big event to perk up the staff and
grab the media.. the answer.. a giant fashion parade.
Mark hams it up like U2's "Macphisto"
from their Zooropa tour.. while Zelda is considering a job offer from
Rok FM, and death threats via phone and fax.
Luckily for Zelda, Robert's trip to the UK is
not final, and he returns.. Soon their long-time friendship becomes a
bit hotter...

In the last weeks of the 3rd broadcast,
thousands of petitions were signed.. as well as letters to the ABA
pleading for a full-time license for Hitz FM.
[this was shown Raw FM episode 13..]
There were many editorials, letters and
articles in newspapers, as well as benefit concerts, and yes, there
was a fashion parade organised by the Hitz volunteers.
[It was held in a restaurant in the Melbourne
suburb of Glenferrie]
As far as commercial radio bosses 'poaching
staff'.. I don't believe that was occurring at that time.
Hitz FM volunteers have ended up at a large
number of commercial radio stations, as well as in TV, print media and
other careers following their work at the station.
