How'd You Get in The Game?
I started singing from a young age, writing from around the age of thirteen, sang in school plays and talent shows. I then started writing raps, droppin lyrics in forums, mostly dropped lyrics in Ms Dynamite forum,from this I was then approached by Heroik from Raw Riddim and started talkin. Then actually began mcing.
How'd You Hook Up With Raw Riddim?
Started talkin to heroik for quite a while, hooked up at the Urban Music Seminar 2003, sang for him and basically the rest is...history!
Who were your influences growing up?
As a singer-mary.j,AALIYAH,Ashanti,Whitney Houston,Missy Elliot, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye & R.Kelly. As a rapper-Foxy Bown,Missy Elliot, Tupac, Biggie, Mc Lyte,So Solid,Dizzee Rascal and peeps from Raw Riddim.
What Made You Want to be a Rapper?
The first time I heard Jay-Z ft Foxy Brown aint no playa...I loved Foxy's flow and when I started to listen to a lot of Missy Elliot and noticed how she sings, raps, writes and produces i really wanted to be someone who could do that.
What Artist and/or Producer Would You Like to Work with?
MARCUS D!!!(u no it was all about dat lol) but for real i'd like to work with other upcoming artists to expose as much uk talent as possible, but if i could work with established artists...Dizzee Rascal,R.Kelly, Platinum Status/B2k, Missy Elliot.
