How do you rap, produce and run your own label? Not many people know the answer, but one of the few who does is MC Heroik. When not writing lyrics for his own positive themed hip-hop projects, he produces under the moniker B.B. Manik for other artists (including Mayah Kamara and X. Caliber). One of Heroik’s main objectives is to bring much needed diversity to the UK urban scene “Raw Riddim isn’t just a rap label. We feel that’s a little one dimensional,” he says of the label’s varied sound “we cater to all aspects of the hip-hop community.
