Band History

Tigdas was formed back 2004,the idea started in their school perpetual help system in laguna, playing some music and unwinding through beer from too much of being a student. There was started to arise a 7-pieces of students came from different courses who likely to play songs from soulfly, deftones, coalchamber, sepultura, pearl jam, smashing pumpkins, nirvana, the pixies and a lot more...kicking ass of the pacute people in the campus!

As time passes by, the band evaporated into a 3-pieces band. but they still continue to express their music to those people who will appreciate them. And as the virus gets eradicated, the idea of getting more onto a higher level gets more stronger and thicker, to enter the idustry of music with their own vision of tunes..

The band�s name was derived from one of the diseases that we are preventing in our community, �tigdas�; a tagalog term of German Measles. Surely a dangerous disease that it is the cause of blindness of one of our own artist here in philippines, willy garte.

Since then, formation of this band started to live, grow, and arises smoothly.The band also joined GBOB 2005 week11 as a start for the band's exposure.

Now, 3 angry head combined and formed from cavite to stand as the TIGDAS band. Who are ready to immunized people about the concept of their music. Ready to Brings out new music to rock with. Immunization is the best protection. Peace !!
