The band, The Third Element, is going to the Philippines this June. a hard rock group based in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, and an active band in the Fil-Am music scene in the East Coast. They have played in such venues as CBGB's, The 8x10, The Cutting Room, Frazier's on the Ave., etc as well as numerous festivals. Their songs have also been featured in Fil-Am compilations such as The Leyte Benefit CD and Rock In The Box.

All 6 bands including Breaking Point, Gakusei, Unprepared, Banana Ketchup, U rili D�u and Indubio filled up the whole night as they performed live and raw...on stage! 5 of this bands are Lycean students�all has an influenced of rock and punk. Except from breaking point that started the night with their cover songs from greyhounds and kamikazee.
Then, Gakusei followed it with a female vox that stand out from other vox as she growls on stage with their 3 compositions and one cover from dashboard confessional, �hands down�. The next band was Unprepared, it seems they�re not unprepared as they woke up the mob with their 4 compositions within 5-minute play. hmm..?!@# it was not the first time you heard this band Banana Ketchup, seeing that they became the mob most wanted every time they croon their compositions on stage. the fifth band on the row was U rili D�u (you is really the u) they got their name from a formula in math subject, co'z the 3 member of this band was a engineering student from lyceum of the Philippines based in intramuros, manila, this band gave a impressive performance as they play their cover songs from taking back Sunday and Armor for sleep. Lastly, the last band walks on stage, was the Indubio. An all female band but this time they have with them their secessionist drummer. They played 2 compositions, one was written by their original drummer �Jj� and one cover song from Staind(Outside). | ||

It was a startling evening when the six bands smashed their guitars at Mayric�s bar in Espana last Dec. 23, 2004 including Stampede of Saints, Rubbersoul, Lipgloss, Random Hero, Banana Ketchup and Idiosyncratic. The night was awakened as �Lipgloss� a band from Cavite, started thegig with their original compositions. Then it was followed by Banana ketchup as a neophyte, everyone on the band was keyed up as they took up the stage. But strains could not stop this band from playing their earsplitting, high-pitched, and blaring but emotional compositions. The third band on the stage, was "Idiosyncratic" that covers some incubus songs. By 12:10 "Rubbersoul", took over the stage and give a flabbergasting performance as they play blues and rock and roll music. And the night could not be completed without this band, �Random hero�. This band never disappointed us, as we invite them to be stand-in from the band �Droll�, since, that band can�t perform for this event. This five high school students from Cavite give a lively and energetic performance, as they play their cover songs, one of these was �tell all your friends� by �taking back Sunday� that makes the sound resonates from the venue as the mob sings with them. And when the last band strides on the stage they throw up an awestruck performance. plus they also collaborated the song �burried myself alive� by The Used with idiosyncratic vocalist. | ||
