So What is Wicca Anyways?
History: The first ever religion known to humans was Shamanism.  Shamanism is a religion that is nature or Earth based and its where Shamans did rituals and communicated with the spirits of nature and Earth.  Shamans gained their knowladge by communicating with the spirits and they were the first humans to believe in higher power.  By communicating with the spirits, they entered an altered state of mind often known as ecstacy.  Self-inflicted pain, fasts, meditations, dance and song were often used as tools for communicating with the spirits.  Shamans were quiet, sharing little knowladge of their information with others, and kept much a secret.  From this religion, it sparked many other higher powered religions, including Wicca.

Beliefs of Wicca: Wiccans, like many other religions, look towards a Deity as a duel, a God and a Goddess.  The God and the Goddess are not seperate, but as a whole being, with two equal identaties.  They do not appear as a figure, or the ruler of the universe, because they are the universe.  They are kind and loving, warm and compassionate.  Wiccans do not worship Satan (a misconseption of the Wiccan faith) and they do not even believe in the existance of a Devil.  They believe that all evil origionates from their own mind.  Wicca is all about taking responsability for their own actions, and they do not put their blame on a higher power such as the Devil for their evil doings.  Magick is used in some cases of the Wiccan faith (depending on the practitioner) and they use their own energies to make change in ones life.  Wiccans belive in free will and that each person has control over their own self.

Ethnics of Wicca: Wiccans belive that what ever is sent out towards a human, animal, or anything else will come back three fold, whether it's good or bad.  They belive that you can do what ever to people as long as you do not harm them physically, spiritually, mentally or emotionally.  The rule of 3 Fold is very useful, and if a Wiccan were to cast out a spell of negativity towards another human being, the energy would go back to them three times as powerful.
