I would like to draw your attention to an important Community Service Project.
As all of you are aware, Cancer is one of the most disabling, mutilating and painful disease that afflicts mankind. Apart from the human suffering it inflicts, Cancer causes an enormous drain of resources for its treatment and rehabilitation.
What is important for us to know is that cancer is preventable to a great extent, or at least detectable in early stage. The chances of complete cure are greatly enhanced if cancer is detected in an early stage.
Spreading awareness about cancer is a great tool for preventing cancer or leading to its early detection. Organisations like Rotary can can save valuable lives and valuable resources by spreading Cancer Awareness.

You are requested to read these articles, copy them, forward them or get them printed. Please circulate them by whatever means available to maximum number of people. Medical Colleagues may display them in their clinics.
You may organise a Cancer Detection Camp, at least once in the forthcoming year, with the help of your Medical colleagues.
