Sailor Moon:Madame Cat

Warnings, Disclaimers and Acknowledgements:Sailor Moon doesn't belong to me. The names in this story are real, of me and my friends in Junior High School, and the characters are modeled after ourselves, but the characters of the sailors are not ours.

Yeah this is REALLY Vintage stuff, but it's all good, we all had to have hobbies when we were little. I guess this was mine.

So, without further babble, here's the story.

It all started with the cat. Black, with a gold crescent moon shape on her forehead, Amy had found her on her doorstep, in a box, with a note asking the finder of the cat to take care of her.

"Let's name her Luna!" suggested Amy's sister, Kathryn.

Amy's Mom groaned. "Not another 'Sailor Moon' thing!"

"She's our cat!" said Kathryn.

"Yeah. We can name her whatever we want. Besides," Amy pointed out, "she looks just like Luna."

Two days later, on a rainy Saturday, Amy and her friend Kim were playing Scrabble in Amy's living room. Luna was snatching tiles with a deft paw.

"H-A-T-E. 'Hate'." Kim announced, placing the tiles on the board.

"A very accurate word in describing how much I like Marie." Amy said, "Why won't she leave me alone? Now she's dising all my friends! Next thing I know she'll be abducting my cat."

"I love your cat! She seems very intelligent," Kim remarked. Luna had formed eight tiles into piles of four each. R-M-A-S was one pile and O-N-M-O was the other. Suddenly the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it," Amy said, "it's probably Kathryn coming back from her friends house." Amy opened the front door. No one was there. Then Amy noticed the large box on her door step. Puzzled, she picked it up and brought it inside. It was made of a shimmery white material.

"Cool!" Kim exclaimed, "What's that?"

Amy set the box on a table and carefully opened it. Inside, nestled in pink velvet, were two lockets, one with a silver crystal and one with a pink heart crystal, surrounded by six coloured pens. Each pen had the symbol for a planet on the top. Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto.

"Awesome! They're 'Sailor Moon' transformation pens!" Amy exclaimed, "Kathryn must have ordered them." She picked up the red pen. As soon as she touched it, it started to glow.

"Sailor Mars is the best."

"No way!" said Kim, "Sailor Moon is." She picked up the crystal locket, and the crystal started to sparkle.

"Sailor Mars kicks!" Amy exclaimed.

"I still like Sailor Moon better." Kim replied, "I love the way they transform."

"Ditto." Amy agreed.

"Mars...." Amy lifted the pen into the air.

Kim held the locket in front of her. "Moon, Crystal...."

"Power!"

"Power!"

The crystal detached from the locket and fastened on Kim's chest.

Cords of Fire sparked from Amy's pen.

White wings spurted on Kim, then disappeared in a pouf of feathers.

The fire twisted and turned in arcs around Amy.

Ribbons twisted around Kim, transforming into clothes, gloves and boots in a pouf of feathers.

The fire formed rings, and turned faster. Amy's hair flew straight up and grew several feet longer.

A gold crescent sparkled on Kim's forehead, disappearing as a jewelled tiara appeared. Red jewels appeared on the buns now in Kim's hair.

The fire whirled around Amy and disappeared with a pouf, leaving clothes, gloves, and red heels.

Kim put one hand on her hip, and the other on her forehead.

Kim looked at Amy. Amy looked at Kim. Then they started screaming.

Farah opened her front door. On the doorstep was a white basket made of a hard, white, shimmery wood or something. Inside was a white cat with a gold crescent on his forehead. Farah picked up the note that was stuck to the handle of the basket.

"Please take care of me." It read. Farah brought the cat inside her house. He looked just like Artemis off of 'Sailor Moon.'

Inside the basket was a white box made of the same thing as the basket. Farah opened it. Inside was an orange pen with the symbol for Venus on top. Farah picked up the pen.

"Coowl!" she said, and yelled "Venus, Power!"

"Will you girls please be quiet!" someone said.

Amy stopped screaming. "Who said that?"

Kim kept screaming.

"Kim, Be quiet!" Amy exclaimed. Kim stopped screaming.

"Wha... Wha... What happened?" she asked. Then she caught sight of herself in a mirror and screamed.

"What now?" Amy asked.

"My - My - My hair!" Kim's hair was golden and in two large buns with ponytails that hung down to her knees. "It looks like meatballs!"

"You look like Sailor Moon!" Amy exclaimed, "And I - I'm Sailor Mars! Awesome! This is so cool!"

"You girls are both right." said Luna. Amy and Kim whirled around.

"Since when do cats talk?" asked Kim.

"Since I was sent to re-unite the sailor scouts." Luna told them.

The girls looked at her blankly.

"To ward of the evil that is threatening the earth, and, eventually, your planets." The cat explained, "Now we must find the other scouts."

"Ahh. How do we do that?"

"Most of the scouts will love the TV show as much as you two. You may even know some of them. Any ideas?"

"Adrianna." The girls said in unison, then started giggling.

"Quick, girls," Luna interrupted, "Amy's parents are home. Transform!" Kim transformed.

"Do I have to?" Amy asked, "My hair is so cool!" Amy's hair was thick and shiny, jet black with purple highlights, and hung almost to her knees.

"No-one must know of the scouts but the scouts themselves!" Luna stressed.

Amy transformed while Kim took the box with everything but her locket downstairs to Amy's room.

"If we can't tell anyone about the scouts, how are we going to find them?" Amy asked.

"The pens will glow when their owner picks them up." Luna told her as Kim came back.

"Coowl!" said Kim.

"Then I should bring the pens to choir practice," Amy decided. "And don't forget your locket." she told Kim, just as Kathryn walked in.

"What pens?" she asked.

"Oh - um - just some cool markers Kim's lending me." Amy explained.

"Right." Kathryn said sarcastically.

"Choir cancelled." The sign on the choir room door (at their church) read.

"Great!" Gina exclaimed, "Now what are we supposed to do? My mom's not picking us up for two hours! I could be home cooking!"

"I should be finishing my homework." Adrianna added.

Kim smiled. "Not me! I wonder where Amy is?"

Just then Amy ran around the corner. "Hi guys!"

"Speak of the devil!" Adrianna exclaimed. "Guesswhat Guesswhat Guesswhat GUESS WHAT I brought!"

"What?" they all asked.

"This," she said, unzipping her bag. Luna jumped out.

"You brought your cat." Gina said, disbelieving.

"How did she get in there?" she asked, "No, I brought these." She took out the box and opened it.

"Sailor moon transformation pens! Even better!" Adrianna exclaimed. She picked up Jupiter and handed it to Gina. "Here's yours."

The pen started to glow. "Awesome!" Gina exclaimed.

"Hey!" Adrianna said, "How come it didn't glow when I held it?"

Gina raised her pen in the air.

"Because you're not Sailor Jupiter." Luna explained. "Oh. WHAT?!"

"Jupiter, Power!"

The hall went dark as bolts of lightning crashed from Gina's pen. They zigzagged around her, twisting and turning. It formed a spirograph around her, then crashed inwards and disappeared. Gina was wearing a green Sailor suit with a pink bow, and green ankle boots.

"I'm so stupid! I didn't think about Gina!" Kim exclaimed.

"We know you're stupid," Amy agreed. "Kidding!"

Adrianna, meanwhile had picked up the Mercury pen.

"Mercury, Power!"

Streams of blue shot out of the wand. Adrianna doubled over backwards, the blue threads wrapping tightly around her body. Adrianna turned around backwards, the threads on her like clothes. Then they disappeared in a ripple of water, leaving Adrianna with dark blue hair, and a navy Sailor suit with an ice blue bow and blue boots. Gina gave Adrianna a high five. "Are you guys..."

"Yeah," Amy answered, "I'm Sailor Mars and Kim's Sailor Moon." Amy picked up her pen. "Mars..." she started.

"Is anyone here?" came a familiar voice from down the hall.

"Quick, hide!" said Kim as Adrianna pulled Gina into the gym.

Jana came round the corner. "Hi!"

"Dawnnie!" Kim and Amy exclaimed, hugging Jana. Gina and Adrianna came out of the Gym and hugged her, too.

"Great costumes!" Jana exclaimed. Amy, meanwhile had gone to the box and picked up the Neptune pen. She handed it to Jana, and it started to glow.

"Awesome!" Kim exclaimed, "You're one too!"

"One what?" Jana looked confused.

"I didn't have to unite you," Luna remarked, "you've already found each other."

"Jana," instructed Amy, "hold your pen in the air and say 'Neptune, Planet, Power."

"Neptune... Planet... Power!"

Teal light shone on Jana, making her whole body look teal. A single strand of water streaked from her pen, twisting in the air and wrapping itself loosely around her body as it twisted down to the ground, finally lying in a ring at her feet. Fountains squirted from the ring, obscuring her from view, then cascaded away, leaving Jana in a teal Sailor suit with teal hair and a royal blue bow. She was wearing royal blue sandals.

Amy and Kim transformed.

"Mars, Power!"

"Moon, Crystal, Power!"

"Awesome!" cried Jana, "I love my hair!"

"Mine is better!" exclaimed Amy, "It is so cool!"

"Does it fly out when you do your 'fire' thing?" Jana asked.

"I have no idea."

"Then try!" Jana suggested. She opened the door to the outside.

"Okay. Mars, Fire," Amy spun around. Her white gloved hand formed a gun.

"Mars, NO!" Luna cried.

"IGNITE!" Fire spurted from Amy's hands as her hair flew outwards, like flames licking the air.

"All right!" exclaimed Gina and Kim.

"Me next!" said Adrianna.

"No!" cried Luna, "We can't draw attention to ourselves!"

"There's a black scorch mark across the parking lot." Jana told them.

"What the heck was that?" came a voice from outside. In walked Brady and Kirk. They saw the scouts.

"Uh-oh," said Luna and Kim.

"What the..." said Kirk.

"That's your cue, Mercury!" said Gina.

"Awesome!" Adrianna exclaimed, "Mercury Bubbles..." A large bubble formed between her hands. She spun around then crossed her arms in front of her face, the bubble suspended in front of them. "BLAST!" she threw her arms out, and a cluster of bubbles flew at the boys, knocking them out and bathing the whole church in a fog.

"Quick, girls," instructed Luna, "transform, before the mist dissipates!"

Everyone transformed.

As the fog cleared, Jana found she was to Kirk and Brady.

"Hey, guys," she said, "why are you lying on the ground?"

Brady groaned.

Kirk sat up slowly. "There were these gorgeous girls... with long legs..... really screwed hair...."

"Talking cat..." added Brady, getting to his feet, "Where is everyone?"

"Choir is cancelled." Gina told them.

"Okay, then. Bye!" Kirk said as they left.

"That was close, girls. You must be more careful with your powers." Luna told them.

"Amy, wake up!"

"Mmmmmm... Wha?" Amy groaned. Her clock radio read 1:30 am. Luna jumped on Amy.

"AHHHHH! Luna! What the..."

"Shhh! Wake up! The Evil is attacking!" "What? Where?"

"The Glenbow Museum. They are trying to get all the pieces of Sailor Moon's sceptre, which are scattered all over the place. If they get the sceptre, they will become unbeatable! Call Sailor Moon and the other scouts!"

"How? And how are we supposed to get to the Glenbow?"

"Your pens will allow you to communicate. And I can telepathically transport you all to the museum."

"Luna Pen - Transport!" Amy/Sailor Mars found herself falling down a golden vortex with the other sailors. Suddenly everything stopped and she hit the floor of the Glenbow with a thump, barely staying on her feet. Gina and Jana had no trouble landing, but Adrianna stumbled to one knee and Kim landed on her butt.

"Owww! Luna, couldn't you have dropped us someplace softer?" Kim whined.

"So, Luna," said Gina, "where is this 'Great Evil'?"

"Yeah, I don't see anything," Adrianna added.

Suddenly a voice came from the top of the 'Northern Lights' statue.

"Go! Find the piece!" and a large centaur galloped into the room.

"Never mind." Said Adrianna.

Amy looked up. Standing on top of the two and a half story high statue was a woman with a black mask and long red claws wearing a skin tight leopard print bodysuit with tights and a long, filmy, wrap around black skirt. She also had knee high lace-up black leather boots.

"Hey!" Kim said, "Check out leopard lady!"

"It's not leopard lady, meatball head, it's Madame Cat!" corrected the figure.

"I am Sailor Moon, and you'd better get out of here before we call the police!" exclaimed Kim, in a mocking tone.

"Yeah!" repeated Adrianna, "Before we call the - police? What?"

"We don't need police! We are Sailor Scouts, champions of Justice!" cried Jana.

"Oooookay," said Gina, "sure - whatever. Sounds - um - good, I guess."

"Quit with the dramatics and take a hike," said the cat, "I want that sceptre and I want it now! Get!" she commanded the centaur.

The centaur took a golden rope out of its belt and threw the end into the museum. He started to pull it back.

"He has the piece!" said Gina.

"YES!" cried Madame, "Cats rule - and you scouts drool."

"Oh brother," said Adrianna.

"That piece is mine!" declared the cat.

"Not so fast," replied Jana. Blue light surrounded her, her hair flying straight up. "Neptune...." Jana moved her hands up and a column of water rose from the floor. "Deep...." she formed the glowing water into a wave. "SUBMERGE!" She hurled the wave at the centaur. It crashed against it, forcing it to its knees. The centaur howled.

Gina, meanwhile, had grabbed the piece of sceptre from the end of the rope. It was a red heart shaped jewel set in gold.

"I'd drop that, if I were you," threatened Madame Cat as she jumped off the statue and landed in front of Gina, her short, white hair flying in all directions.

"Go to heck!" Gina said. "Jupiter..." She started. The cat leapt to the other side of the room.

"Coward!" Gina yelled after her. She gave the jewel to Kim, then turned to the centaur, who was getting to its feet. "Jupiter...." she put her head forward, crossed her legs, and crossed her arms in front of her face. "Thunder..." A lightning rod rose up from her tiara, and a cloud of lightning gathered, hitting the rod. "CRASH!" she straightened her arms and legs, throwing the lightning at the centaur. It howled and sank to the ground.

"It's your turn, Sailor Moon," said Luna, who was perched safely on top of a bust of Beethoven, "use your tiara to turn it to moondust!"

"Finally! I get to do something! Moon, tiara..." Kim took off her tiara, and it transformed into a glowing golden discus. "MAGIC!" She spun around and threw the discus straight at the monster. With a pouf, the centaur disappeared. A piece of paper fluttered to the ground.

"You may have won this time," said Madame Cat, "but the war isn't over yet!" She faded into thin air.

Amy picked up the paper. It had a drawing of a centaur on it. She ripped it in half.

She opened the drawer and picked up the black crystal pencil. At first, she hadn't believed the old man with the black crescent on his forehead. She hadn't believed that she could use the pencil he gave her to become the most powerful being on earth, and, eventually, the galaxy. She smiled and sat down to draw. Those pesky Sailor scouts had defeated her centaur. Well, they wouldn't be so lucky this time.
