| Name: Huntress Queen Race: Human Appearance: Five foot seven inches tall, slender but strong with just the right curves to keep male attention from straying too far from her entrance. Deeply red wavy hair that falls to her midback when she isn't hunting, but up in a twist or under a leather hat when she is hunting. She has brilliant emerald green eyes framed by long black lashes that don't miss a thing. Her skin is tanned from exposure but not rough. She keeps fit and agile in various activities that suit her fancy at any given time (not all of which are suitable for young viewers). Status: The Queen family has been around for a very long time, it is so old that no one really knows what created the Queen legends and myths that now circle the globe. Few have not heard of the greatness of the Queen family in the realm of searching for treasures, secret lairs, and hunting of rare beasts and creatures in many lands, realms, and other dimensions. The family is known to have relatives in most major hunting areas and all land masses have at least one contact to the direct family line so funds are not a problem where ever a family member may decide to hunt. All women in the family have married great warriors or hunters and birthed ten children. Of the ten the oldest is always the only girl. The male descendants are always great hunters but rarely produce offspring that have the talent. The women however hold the genetic make up that allows the instintive hunting ability to be passed on to offspring. The Queen family is led by the oldest female of the family. The Queen name is kept by the females even in marriage. The matron of the family takes the title of Dowager Queen and the next in line is always called the Huntress. All children of the family are taught from early childhood about hunting and tracking. The family is known to have secret stones that have magical properties when arranged into certain patterns. The stones send out currents that will detect and guide to the beasts that the pattern matches. Other than loyalty to the family, profit and challenge are the main codes that the Queen family goes by. Pleasure and satisfaction guide their decisions. Some tend to be more home and family minded as they get older but not always. The females are expected to produce children at some point but marriage is optional. All members of the family are very loyal to the family and will defend them to the death if necessary. They will travel to the far ends of the solar system to help a blood relative even if it is a distant relation. Blood is thicker than any bond made with this group. Huntress is the next in line to the leader of the current generation of Queens. But this is not a concern to her as her grandmother is still quite a strong and youthful presence in every Queen's life. Huntress's mother was killed in a hunt several years back. Huntress has lived up to the family name in everyway. Hunting both man and beast for a variety of causes. Fun, challenge, profit, and sometimes just for the fun of the hunt. With the men the fun was the main concern. She is 32 years old and in the prime of life. She carries various weapons with her at all times and has perfected the art of hidding sharp objects within the most skimpy of outfits while she is relaxing in some bar. When on the hunt she is never without at least five daggers, four throwing stars, several darts, and various other weapontry depending on what is being hunted and what time frame she is in. She prefers non-explosive weapons as they require more skill and muscle. Besides the weapons she carries on her person she carries a back pack with a variety of compact and specially designed weapontry and clothing for any occasion. Though there are some occasions that require little or no clothing so that also is of no problem for the very uninhibited female. She enjoys solitude and has not thoughts of a family as yet, though she doesn't let that stop her from enjoying male company. She is in regular weekly contact with the Dowager Queen which is a requirement due to the fact that she is the next in line. Personality: Speaks quietly but firmly and only when she thinks it is something worth saying. She often does not mince words or worry about the feelings of those to whom she speaks. She is to the point in words and actions. She is not above fighting below the belt as winning is the goal and often staying alive is in the balance. One must do what it takes to stay alive even if it seems unfair. She is quite brash at times and can be quite flamboyant as well when she is relaxed and feeling frisky. Capabilities: No magic except for the stones that help her track certain animals or creatures. She is quite instictive about tracking or surveilence. Patient to a fault in waiting for days at a time for the prey. Is as at home in the trees as on the ground or even in the water. No one is really sure what kind of weapons she might have either on her person or in her back pack. |
