| MARIAM CERILE. Though once a servant employed at the D'Ambreeville Manor, the deaths of Lord Robert and Lady Lillian forced her into a change in residence. She decided to come to the Keep to look after her former employer's niece Talinda D'Ambreeville, but, as always, has decided to make herself useful. Currently, this rather jovial rounded woman serves as the cook of the Keep. When she's not trying to feed everyone, she is attempting to be a matchmaker, which can lead to some very interesting adventures in its own right. |

| Jacob is the only warrior druid left of his clan. His brothers specialized more in the arts of magic, while Jacob enthralled himself in his battle skills. This making Jacob a more desired allie in combat or battle. His nature however, is solemn most of the time and he speaks very little. He is very close to his brothers as he is the eldest. |

| Sullivan, the druid of healing and herbal cures. Sullivan is a kind, soft spoken one. Usually lingering within the background of any crisis ready to assist should the need arise. Yet, he seems wise among his people and duely respected. A great loyalty is bound between him and the people of Messina and the Keep. |

| Dunkel is a fun loving boy of about 15 years old. He thinks he knows all there is to know about everything. Yet, one can't help but think kindly of his efforts to help and his funny ways. He is from the Island of Merillias and has avoided most of the evil there since his father took him on a trip to Messina some years ago. He met the King there and his daughter. He also caught the eye of a local girl and swore that he'd return one day to claim her hand. Will he ever get the chance to return to Raven's Keep? |

| Savant Shadow Walker, Large man, came with his sister to Raven's Keep defending it honorably on several occasions. His sister's death was hard having lost all his family when she was killed. Then, he met Mya the Red Sorceress and they married. Happy times were not to last as they sat off on a voyage quickly after their wedding never to be heard from again....or has he? |
| RHODRICK, known as Rhodrick the Falcon. A trained assassin, he pledged his life to Mya's, and came with her from Abyssinia as her bodyguard. He was soon charmed by Lady Sarah and Raven's Keep, and vowed to change his ways. While helping to rebuild Messina after a battle, he died when a damaged building fell on him. He was honored by all his friends in Raven's Keep, which he had helped defend. |
| Mya The Red Sorceress, a beautiful woman came to Raven's Keep and defended it and its people greatly. With her army of dragons she soared many times until her heart fell for Savant Shadow Walker. Then, her heart soared among many of her dragons. Soon after their wedding they set sail on their honeymoon voyage and yet never returned. There have been rumors that her husband slew her, pitching her body over the rim of the great ship. |

| THE GUARDIANS: are the celestial beings that controlled the portals at one time. Although the beings were immortal, they were dying. Their scriptures spoke of one young maiden, pure of heart that would over-come great obstacles. They watched for many seasons. Not able to interfere with any of the lands troubles, wars and woes. Until the time came they bestowed upon a young maiden their wisdom.. She had been chosen at birth, taken into the bosom of the guardians and trained in the skills of controlling these portals in her world and that of others. Great changes will occur due to this. In her land and in her life. The Lady Sarah will come to realize there must be darkness for there to be light, there must be evil for there to goodness. There must be a balance at which she can not interfere with constantly. |

In an underground shelter she discovered a number of children placed in suspended animation, all with special gifts of magic. Their guardian placed them in her care, bidding her to help them escape their dying world. This she did, leading them through a portal back to Raven's Keep. For now, they have been unofficially adopted by Savant and Mya. |

| Alice, was Lady Sarah's most trusted friend and servant. Having grown up with Sarah, Alice learned and played along side of her for as long as Sarah could recall. However, little did anyone including Lady Sarah know the dark thoughts that had plagued Alice all these years. She grew up resenting Sarah for everything, from her beauty to her reign over her kingdom and much more. It drove Alice into a scheme with the council men before they were banished from the kingdom. She poisoned Sarah and her sister Talinda in hopes of their death coming without linking it to her. Only Sullivan, a druid from Bellshire intervened and spoke of several ingrediants on distant shores that held a cure. So setting off a group of questors did just that. Yet, Alice had other plans by decieving all of them until the last minute. The last ingrediant she obtained by slaying the master Vampire on the Island of Merrillias and taking over his powers as well as the amulet of Amarnta, the last ingrediant of the cure. She'd hope for her own kingdom and would raise an army of her own to perhaps one day rule over the kingdom of Raven's Keep. Her plans were foiled by none other than Gavin Knightsbridge, the knight of swords. He slew her in a confrontation and it seems he is none the sorry for it. So Alice lay dead at the tallest tower, her dark eyes fading, returning to their normal blue. Perhaps Gavin laid her to rest in the only way possible. |
