Ahhh, that appearance felt good
Uzumaki Naruto is one of the main characters in Naruto (go figure) but only a minor character in this fic.
Here's a quick rundown of Naruto:
(Warning, possible spoilers up to the Chuunin Exam)
- To save his village from an evil demon fox, the Fourth Hokage (leader-guy) sealed the evil spirit in the body of a orphan baby twelve years ago. That baby was Naruto. He doesn't know, but in times of great stress the youkai spirit starts to emerge.
- While not the brightest kid (Naruto had the lowest score at ninja academy) he is unwillingness to give up makes him a valuable member of team seven. To borrow a Great Big Sea lyric, he might fall, but he'll never lay down.
- Because of the demon that is inside of him, most of the adults in Konoha village have ignored him all his life. Before he was a ninja, he fought back by playing pranks. Now that he's a Genin (lower type of ninja) he is determined to become a Hokage for Konoha, because then he believes that that would force everyone to acknowledge him.
- He really, really likes Ramen. And Sakura. But mostly Ramen.
