By Nous September 7, 2006 8-25-2006 I haven't really talked to anyone in a few days. And yesterday, as I got the highest score on Bubble Bobble (it's back!) Curtis called and asked if I wanted to go camping over the weekend. I decided, "That sounds about right." And so I agreed, but then wondered if I'd like to go on a two day retreat with Curtis and some strangers. At any rate, today is the day. I'm all packed and ready for flight. I burned myself a "road CD," but forgot to include Les Blues de Voyage, which is a song that fucking rocks. Collin and I were talking about stealing the melody once on the way to Sargent. I told him that was piracy and ended the conversation as quickly as possible. I did include such hits as Len's "Steal My Sunshine," though, and some Edith Piaf. Surl Complexe Alpha. Ever heard of it? There's a song with that title that I downloaded and it's pretty badass. And its pretty, bad ass. Anyway, it's in another language (Greek?) and it's like all vocals. Well, the version I downloaded is just a young girl singing it, with no accompaniment. The melody is OMG. So cool. It could be really Pop-y, but some parts are like really sexy too. God, I cannot pinpoint this language at all. I immediately thought French, but who knows? I just wrote a song about how love isn't real. And the melody in it which I liked so much at first pales in comparison to Surl Complexe Alpha's. Is that even how it's spelled? This person may have fucked up the words. It sounds like that's what she's saying though. I've been downloading nothing but old songs I remember from when I was younger, like fourteen. Fastball, with Out of My Head, or whatever it's called, and that Sugar, Oh Honey Honey song by the Archies (is that even right?). This little rant is all about how I don't know anything. Hey, nobody does, right? Also. PORPOISE Never go swimming without a porpoise He will surely be an asset "He" being the male porpoise of your choosing Females get really horny And can kill you SO I'M AN OWL Virgo, Pisces rising, is a very good sign. Right now I'm confident and unsure. Content and nervous. Optimistic and disappointed. Maybe it's just because I'm listening to Jewel's "Foolish Games." Why am I doing that? 0______ ______))))) 0 ^ Check out that super villain I created just now. Actually, it sort of looks like a mix of Shredder and .... someone else. I can't think of his name or who he is. :) QUITE FRANKLY, MY DEAR, I DON'T GIVE A FUCK Oilier, my mom and I were at the kitchen table eating lunch (weird!) and she goes, "I'm full." I said, "AT LAAAAAST!" in reference to the Etta James song, and she says, "Yesterday .... Um ... where was I?" And I said, in a gross, gritty, high-pitched voice, "I don't know." And she just told me about this rabid dog that was roaming the neighborhood. She saw it on the way to pick my brother up from school. "Not something hard to see." I said. "If you steal my sunshine." she responded. "My sunshine." "..ooooOOOOooh....." "If you steal my sunshine." "My sunshine." "...oooOOOooohh...." So much music in my head right now. *** 8-31-06 COURT DATE There's a few things you should know about going to court. First of all, that's what Jake calls "dating." But that's irrelative (huh?). I was sitting in one of the back rows, the one before last, and I thought I recognized this girl with blond hair who looked like she'd been on skid row giving blowjobs for like a month. She reminded me of a girl from seventh grade, purported to be a slut by the likes of Roy Ilkenhans and that asshole, Trinity (Spiked reddish, blondish hair; wore an earing? Remember him?). Jason Gravette told me her nickname was ... SOMETHING ... about her vagina I think. Anyway, I thought I saw here there at the municipal court where I went to pay for a citation I got where the cop thought I wasn't wearing a seatbelt. But I was, my friends. I was indeed. That bullshit aside FOR CHRIST'S SAKE, I noticed that Slut was going from black guy to black guy, row to row, apparently collecting names and phone numbers (which was really awkward because I was with my mom). I mean, I guess she wasn't being indiscreet , but she seemed kind of desperate which was implied by the speed with which she collected these names and phone numbers. Still, she was being kind of quiet. In spite of this, it was evident to me, and probably everyone else, what she was doing. One of the black guys she was hunting down wouldn't even look at her though. He didn't even notice her sit by him. He wore glasses and this weird shirt which, had it been longer, would have resembled a gospel choir outfit. Like the kinds you see on TV. I've never seen them in real life, not even at Grace. A line began to form for those who wished to sign up for Driver's Ed., I mean Defensive Driving. And the guy in front of me was like, "What is that line for?" I told him and he went up there. I also went up there, to see if I could get a deferred disposition (something my mom and I eventually settled on), but it turns out you can't get that for not wearing a seatbelt (I WAS wearing it). So I just had to pay a hundred and forty four dollars for endangering no one's life but my own. You know, the government should really make a law where people have to drink at least three glasses of milk a day. That's beside the point though, just something I've been thinking about. Anyway, that guy who asked what the line was for had a shaved head. He obviously had black hair, and that dark area where hair once was combined with his skin tone (scalp tone?) and the gleam made his head look like it was made out of marble. It was sort of angular too. Anyway, that judge was fucking cool. He was this old man named Carl Schwartz, and being old he just sort of made the whole process seem like I was just up there asking a Foley's employee who to see in order that I get a job (remember when I worked at Foleys?). Well, not quite like that. But he was very laid back about it. And old judge is great. They know all about good old-fashioned southern laintment and I hope I never get a young bureacrat judge who think she's changing the world. I say "she" because for some reason I was thinking about that judge from Divorce Court. Oh, and "Jorge Gutierrez" wore girl pants. What a lame-o. SELLER'S BROS. What person from my elementary school works there now? My mom says she saw someone who asked her if she was my mother. Curly ... reddish? ... hair. Looked black, but wasn't? I don't know. My mom may have it all wrong. MEGA X-MAN 2 I finally beat all the little pussy bosses. TIME TO GO FOR THE KILL AND SAVE ZERO! SURFACE I was trying to sleep a little while longer before I had to go with Don'l to the Boogie Bunch show after picking Keith up from Crosby. It didn't work out, but I was asleep for a good hour. The point is that some music just leads my mind down little alleyways, with signs that remind me of bad things and things I'm supposed to do and things I need to prepare for. All I can do is lie there and think and know I can't go to sleep now no matter how hard I try. It's hard to convey what I'm talking about. At least it is for me. It's happening right now. A song is on that I can't ignore but I'm trying to. Ignore. No talking, Nous. Ignore. No talking. POIM ABOUT WOIDS At first, with meaning, falling into insanity by its end.
