A Dragon's Dream
Soaring above the troubles and pains, Caused by this world of limited brains, I see the fear in mortals below, Desperately trying to save someone's soul.
Laughing at the most dangerous ods, Placing all trust in invisible gods. Gods who have been and ever will be, Constantly surveying all they can see.
Sometimes I wonder in my passing flight, How mortals would live if they forgot how to fight. With wars and invasions a thing of the past, I wonder how long humanity would last.
Alone in my cave with the world left behind, My mind in the past, my future I'll find. I dream of the fun I'll have the next day, When I chase some poor mortal's disbelief away. |
