Broom less Quidditch Match
       By Cedric

Last week the two British teams, Montrose Magpies and Falmouth
Falcons, were supposed to meet each other for a match of Quidditch.
However a problem came up that almost resulted in the match being
cancelled.
The Montrose Magpies had all their equipment transported to the match
in a separate car but somehow there was a mix-up with the brooms. When
the team had their brooms delivered it was not their usual Quidditch
brooms, but brooms charmed to sweep floors they received.
Since there was no time to get new equipment, the team had to use the
sweeping brooms.
10 minutes into the match the Captain of the Montrose Magpies threw
his broom to the ground and stomped on it while shouting words not
suited for this magazine.
He called a time-out and after a talk with the Falmouth Falcons'
Captain, it was decided that since both teams needed the practise they
would continue the match without anyone using a broom.
The referee told the teams that the match was a win for Falmouth
Falcons because the Magpies had not brought the proper equipment but
that he would gladly stay and be the referee for the unofficial match
without brooms.
After 4 hours of hard play the match ended. No one had any chance of
catching the Snitch so when the referee said he had to head home for
dinner, the match ended.
The unofficial match ended 70-50 in the Magpies' favour.
