No More Floo Jam?

Its the summer break and many will be taking this time to visit relatives and friends in other countries, or just go sightseeing. Either way, transportation will be more difficult this time of the year.

We have hired more employees to work here at the Department of Transportation during the summer season. We know a lot of people will be lining up to use the international Floo network, says Lisa Brenner, head of Department of Transportation.

Surveys have shown that nearly half of the England magical population will be taking a vacation in another country, and that is more people than ever before in history. Since more and more exotic and magical places have been discovered, many more people will travel and visit those famous places, explains travel agent, Wilfred Hitchcock.

Last summer, Ive waited 40 hours in line at the International Floo Centre to floo to Canada. I hope this year will be shorter, otherwise I will reconsider travelling by muggle transportation, comments an annual tourist, Bobby Lemmings.

This year, the Department of Transportation has added fifteen new fireplaces with links to every country in the world to serve tourists better. We know the long line-ups are killing the tourists, so we have added fifteen of them for this summer, and we have plans for more before the Christmas season. We dont know if its enough for the summer, so well just have to sit back and observe, reveals Brenner.

Rest assured, the length of time for lining up will be decreased dramatically with the new system. Tourists do not have to worry about getting to the International Floo Centre early just to line up anymore. Sleep well and have fun!
