new book, a new debate The other day, I had the chance to meet up with Alberta Grunding, the famous author of the book "Murderers and their Reasons" This book talks about why murderers kill people, and if their reasons are justified. However, this new book, although it has just appeared on bookshelves all across the United Kingdom, is in the center of a very heated issue. Are some murderers justified for killing? P: *clicks tape recorder on* Hello there. My name is Penny Hung, and I am here to ask you a few questions about your new book. I trust you received my e-owl? A: Hey� so you're that person who asked me for the interview? Obviously I received your e-owl! I wouldn't be here if I didn't get it, you dimwit! Now get on with the questions! I don't have all DAY! P: *winces* Yes, ma'am. Anyway, the first question is: When you wrote "Murderers and their Reasons" did you know that it would turn out this way? A: *sighs* OBVIOUSLY NOT! If I had known that I'd be pestered so much by all these nosy reporters and paparazzi, I wouldn't have even started writing that book! P: Erm, I mean all the debates. A: I don't care about those stupid debates! Those politicians can debate till the end of time for all that I care! As long as it doesn't affect my daily life, I don't care! P: I see. *writes a few notes down* Next question: Is there any Scientific Evidence to support your arguments in "Murderers and their Reasons?" A: N-o,Not exactly. P: I see. *starts writing extremely fast on her notepad, trying to get everything down* Then why did you write the arguments if they have no proof behind them? A: Well, I used critical thinking and inference to do it. P: Well, people might interpret the evidence differently. A: Well, isn't that too bad for them? *stands up and walks away* So, that was the end of the interview. I thought that it wasn't that pleasant. I thought that Alberta Grunding was a little rude and snobby, and that no wonder not many people liked her.
