| News from Hogwarts � The Triwizard Tournament! By Cho Chang 1 As I have promised you relatives of children attending Hogwarts, I'm here again to inform and fill you in about the latest news from this magical place. The Triwizard Tournament is a tournament where the greatest 3 schools of Witchcraft and Wizardry compete against each other. These are Beauxbatons, Durmstrang and, of course, Hogwarts. One Champion from each school was chosen by the Goblet of Fire. This year, Hogwarts re-introduced this Tournament after a loss of many decades, but differently. This time, the famous Triwizard Tournament is going to be as an Inner-School Competition and not between the 3 schools as traditionally was. The Professor in charge of the tournament's preparations is Professor Sebastian Valant, a new face to the school of Hogwarts. He gave an opportunity to every house to take part in this Tournament. Every student which was interested to participate, could put their name on a piece of parchment and put it in the Goblet of Fire, which was placed in the centre of the Great Hall of Hogwarts. There is no age restrictions, but Professor Valant warned everyone that it can be dangerous so he suggested that only students with good knowledge of various spells and students with no fright should apply for it. On the 26th March, the 5 Champions were chosen by the Goblet of Fire after dinner and the names were announced by the Headmistress herself. The champions revealed were : Aerwin Turner of Gryffindor Sammy Hola of Ravenclaw Michael D'Auria of Slytherin Shalamar Magoo of Penshire Zoey Taylor of Hufflepuff Further instructions were given to each champion by Professor Valant after their names were called and each one of them were asked to move forward and go in front. There are 3 tasks where each champion have to do something in particular. The first task started on the 20th April and many students gathered around in the Grounds of Hogwarts to attend for this magnificent event!
