Holiday Scones

Here is a recipe for the Christmas season and the New Year! Tasty, yet traditional and suits the mood and holiday spirit!

Note: Eat at your own risk.

Ingredients:
- 3 cups flour
- � cup white sugar
- 5 teaspoons baking powder
- � teaspoon salt
- � cup butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 5 teaspoons Giggly water
- � cup butterbeer
- � cup dried fruit (optional)
- � cup nuts (optional)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease a baking sheet.

In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter and dried fruit/nuts. Mix egg, Giggly water, butterbeer and milk in small bowl, and stir into flour mixture until moistened.

Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead. Roll dough out into � inch thick round. Cut into 8 wedges and place on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake 15 minutes in the preheated oven or until golden brown.

Yield: 8 Servings
