Timesplitters 2 for PS2, Gamecube, and Xbox was originally to have online play but do to recent problems Eidos had 2 choices, either delay the release or remove online play. Eidos chose to remove online play, the PS2 will still have LAN for 16-player games, GC will only support 4 player and Xbox with its system link will be able to link up eight consoles for multiplayer.

Halo: Online in the Works

Although somewhat older news i just found out about it today. The hugely succesful Halo on Xbox is going online, not much info avalaible except Microsoft and Bungie are working hard on this one, the PC & Mac Halo most likely will have online options but thats not for sure

According to Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer the next Xbox named Xbox 2 (Tentative) will appear on store shelves around the next World Cup soccer tournament which is year 2006. No other info has been revealed but we now know: Xbox 2 - 2006
Phantasy Star Online bringing its monthly fee to USA and Canada

Just like every online game Phantasy Star Online will cost something for the online play, Japans Xbox version has fee's for game, ISP payments, and Xbox Live Subscription. But PSO and Xbox players will need a bit more cash for the Hunter's License. It has not yet been said if the prices will be the same in North America, oh ya and the offline play will of coarse be free.
