I am reminded of you,
the morning we lay in bed,
and listened to the rain outside,
we listened to each other.
Not the words we said,
but the pictures we drew,
of the future ahead,
and how we slotted in
to the path of the future.
The bricks we will walk upon,
the rocks we will stumble over,
yet we will always be together,
Side by side. As the path unwinds,
our love continues to grow.
It lasts forever, it doesn�t stop
it just continues on the path forever.
We realize then as we lie side by side,
that nothing will part us, that
we will never break apart.
Time one day may end,
the earth may blow up,
but nothing will break the bond we have,
and nothing will stop our love.
