Sir Benton of Fraser was born of Mounties' blood. While he was off on a super secret mission, his parents were killed by murderous Criminals, the very sort Benton of Fraser attempted to eradicate. When he returned home to find that he had lost all that was precious to him, he went against the Criminals, bringing them to prison so that the Innocents could live a better life. Benton of Fraser became known as Benton Hood by his nemeses.

His greatest enemy was Sir Frank of Zuko, a real Bad Guy and leader of the Criminals. Even capture and torture at his hands could not thwart Benton Hood from his mission. However, the beautiful, but vile, Lady Victoria of Metcalf was nearly Benton Hood's undoing. For a brief time, he became one of the Criminals and was accused of such wrong doing that one of his hero sidekicks, Little Jack Huey, had to turn him over to the Law. Luckily, Benton Hood's most loyal companion, Ray Scarlet, was always there to come to the rescue and bring Benton Hood back onto the right path, and this even when Ray Gamewell, another close friend of Benton Hood's, had to leave Chicago City on a top secret mission.

Eventually, King Harding of Welsh returned to Chicago City (he had been away at a deli convention in the Wild Woods 480 miles due north of Chicago City) and had the Criminals all brought to justice. He rewarded Benton Hood with marriage to Ray Scarlet.

With justice thriving once more, Benton of Fraser put away his hood and he and his knight in shining armour lived happily ever after, eventually moving to the Wild Woods.
