Prologue, part 3: the Rules

The 9 august a strange group of figures is admitted, during the night in the Egyptian Museum. They are the true players. If you will look at the guardians they will pass for human at a first glance, but if someone can came close to them… he can see skinny skin, bare bones and bandages under the uniforms. But it’s very difficult to approach them for people who is not invited.

As soon as all the participant are sit around the big egyptian embalmer table, TabXam stand up and begin to hiss with his sublte voice.

Every contesSst has rulesSs. sSso thisSs one.

As in a chesSs game you have pawnsSs: younger VampiresSs. But you musSst have pawns of a sSsimilar origin, sSsimilar to yoursSs (*A). To make the game more interesSsting, between your pawnsSs, you have to hide one of your sSsons… maybe he will reach the final death if you don’t play with caution (*E) or he will be rewarded with the winner prize…

No diablerie isSs admitted until the end of the night.. the bloodhunt rule will apply, make sSsure your pawns knew the rule becausSse you are in responsable of their unpolite behaviour. The five besSstchesSs masSster  will have the right to fight a final battle in which their pawns, lead by their risSspective sSsons, have to sSstruggle for the “arcane object” (*B) to demonstrate they are the besSst.

AsSs you know our city isSs very strange. You have to know where you are, always!

Many things are not allowed for Archbishop’s Law and many other will lead to unesSspected resSsults… maybe for God’s Law or Magik’s Law (*D). You know what you can do… don’t try to bend the Laws (*C).
