| After an act of gross insubordination, the crew of the spaceship Orion are busted down to routine space patrol duty for a period of three years. To keep an eye on the headstrong Commander McLane and his crew, security officer Tamara Jagellovsk from the Galactic Security Division is assigned to the Orion. Their adventures on space patrol prove to be anything but "routine". |

| Space Patrol (original title: Raumpatrouille) debuted on German television on September 17th, 1966 - just nine days after Star Trek's debut in the U.S. Running to just seven episodes, today we would regard Space Patrol as a mini-series. The episodes all feature self contained stories but there is an ongoing storyline involving the villains of the piece - the "Frogs". |
