DOB: Sept., 5th, 1957
Place: Presidencia Roque Saenz Pena, Chaco Province
          Argentina
My first Birthday. My father, Antonio Hernandez is holding me. My mother, Kveta Kulig de Hernandez is by his side.
I grew up in a farm environment. Here I am at the extreme right corner. This is my mother's family. My grandmother is at the extreme left. She came to Argentina before the WWII from the Czech Republic. Like many immigrants she looked for her own people and found the Lord in an ethnic evangelical church. She took me with her since my first languages were Czech and Spanish.
I attended High School in Buenos Aires, 1,000 kilometers away from home. I went to a Brittish boarding school in Buenos Aires and as a new believer I was members of one of the oldest Baptist churches in Buenos Aires. Here I am during my graduation. Her name is Graciela Ferrari. I have no clue why I was with her.
After I graduated from High School I went back to my parents home and studied English for a year. I knew the Lord was calling me to the ministry, but I was only 18 years old. The Baptist Youth enrolled me for volunteer service and colportage (selling Bibles door by door) which I did for a year. Then I went to the Baptist International Theological Seminary of Buenos Aires. I was the youngest student accepted.
Life during my Seminary studies was challenging and fun at the same time. I made friends that are still very close to my heart and whose ministries inspire my life. I am in the middle of two great friends. To the right is Ruben Jimenez, he was a very gifted music composer. He started a church that got dozen of thousand of members in a couple of years. To the left is Hugo Herrera. He had to work hard to have his degrees but after much effort he has degrees in Theology and Psychology and is the pastor of one of the most important Baptist churches in Argentina.
