Chapter 12: Ghost trooper

 

 

It has been quite a while since the terrorizing in last mission. Nay has decided to stay at headquarter and Side has received the double free tickets to Norway, so he decides to take Layya with him, which really makes Albert angry about it. Gun, Minimus, and Albert has been inviting the Ramona Physic Academy to find the way to look forward the upgrading physic-glove (The glove combined with a high tech device of stimulator, which the non-physic user uses to motivate the mind and use them as a force) Force Assault V5.61 to V6.83, which will give non-physic user ability to release more force to against the Sudden Death ghost troop.

The airplane finally arrive at St. Petersburg, Russia about 10:45 AM local times. The group of scientists starts to walk toward them. The scientist leader walks in front of the helipad and begin to greet Gun and his friend for their visiting.

"Ah…welcome to Ramona Physic Academy" greeted the scientist " My name is Ran Maggot the headmaster of this School…let me take you along to the lab"

The group was walking along many places. Some of them look just a plain white room and some of the room are fulfilling with a lot of physic students. They walk along many rooms until they reach to the end of the hall that has a sign "Headmaster office" hung above the door.

"Hello there" said young woman in front of the Headmaster office

"Ahh Maria" said Ran happily " this is my guest today…they are very important, so I think you can cut I few time on my schedule today"

Ran enters the room and suggests everyone to take off their coats. Minimus and Albert take off their long thick coat except Gun who refuses to take off his light brown coat.

"About our new Force Assault" Said Ran " It has been built successfully, but still…non of the non-physic student can afford their mind to use this machine. Most people who previously use this being to pass out before they fully operate it so far"

"So how long it will take to finish this thing?" Asked Minimus " Do we have to change the better core? Or there is more thing to be upgrade?"

"It would be upgrade actually. It would take about 4 or 5 days, but I can guarantee that it will be done around those days," replied Ran

"4 to 5 days!" cried Albert " that almost screw up all my free time!"

"Don’t be silly Albert" said Minimus slowly " You already have a great time in hospital remember? It took about 3 days till you being recovered from being stomp…at least Layya said that is a free time you have"

"BUT LAYYA IS!" Screamed Albert before sigh in a deep breath of disappointment " well…I guess I would go outside for a bit…. I will be back soon"

Albert walking out from the room and smash the door loudly

" He not going to go really far" Said Minimus "He might know that there is a woman next door…"

"Yeah…we have the group of physic women practicing next door today," replied Ran looking at the dormitory map " So you guy are going to stay here?"

"Sure" Replied Minimus happily " If you want us to stay for a while, then I hope your room would have a phone core for me"

"Do I ever give someone a room without looking at their information?" said Ran in the strange voice "I already choose a room for everyone for just good to our dorm section and you guy should be fine"

"Thank you" replied Minimus "I really appreciate that…by the way…what do those women class have at the next door now?"

"Well…as far as the schedule said they has a class about how to use the deadly force to against the stoker or robber" said Ran "Why?"

"Nothing..." Replied, "I got to go now…I wonder if Albert still Alive…"

Minimus jump on his seat and rushing to the door. The headmaster’s room was silence leaving only Gun and Ran in the room.

"Nice people you have" Said Ran with a bit smile on his face "I wonder if they can help us someday"

"Prevent your machine from the ghost troop purpose" Snapped Gun " You want use to stay here…what is your problem Ran? You never invite people that easy before. Is something bothering you?"

Ran looked Horrified

" It about the ghost trooper Gun. One of my students in my class knows about it. First I didn’t believe about it until I sense a really intensive force of someone from nearby area" Said Ran bitterly

" The Sudden Death must assign Aura for this job" Replied Gun " Since She is an only person in Sudden Death troop who is an expert force user, it is no doubt that she must giving you an warning force"

"But what did she want?" Said Ran in a strange Voice, " She not even need our new machine to operate her soldier…all of her soldiers are pure physic user…except"

"She want to steal your machine and giving to Reona for his escape" Interrupted Gun " After He being freed, he will revenge world for destroy this families during the war everyone know that"

"But that is impossible!" vetoed Ran "She couldn’t just come here, kill everyone and take that machine away won’t she?"

"The question here is not about how she can get in Ran. The main question that I need to know soon is when she will come here and what her really purpose to came here and why?" asked Gun seriously, but too late that the door suddenly open. The figure seem to be a young girl with a strange device on her right-hand

"Yes Maria?" said Ran looked at Maria curiously "You came here for something?"

"I have received a wield massage from our main E-mail system today" replied Maria handing a note to Ran. Ran looked horrified before Gun suddenly takes the note out of Ran’s hand.

"Ghost trooper" Said Gun looked at the note "the logical word and people identify is what they do"

"And the brotherhood of the green dagger?" asked Ran in the strange voice

Gun looked at Ran before saying the word that he knew will make Ran being more terrified "The Sudden Death symbol, the poison dagger…. so there are here"

"I will go asked my student for open up all defensive" Snapped Ran jumped off the table before Gun tried to calm him down.

"We should not do that" Said Gun "Remember what they said on the note about their power?"

"But that impossible! Nobody in the world can go into the main lab research without a cardkey and high power to go in. Nobody in the world can go into that area except…" said Ran looked Gun serious

"Except a person who ever in this school and achieve a special program and obtain unlimited key card, a person who learn how to fix the force field password, and a person who really know how to get in this area…like me…" Answered Gun started to believe who they facing with.

"We seem to have no chance" said Ran bitterly "We have to wait until their movement begin"

"Then I will wait here" replied Gun "I wish to guard and protect this place if it is good for people who still alive, or people who already dead…. like Ramona"

Meanwhile Somewhere outside St Petersburg the short hair girl touching her head while her eye was complete close. Suddenly she opens her eye and put her round hat with a poison dagger symbol on it waiting for someone, whom she expected his coming.

A solider in absolute black velvet-like suit smash.

"Report what you done," said the girl button her outer suit.

"We have sent the massage to Ran Maggot already sir!" Said the soldier "All we need left is the order to strike sir!"

"Good!" said the girl buttoned her suit before turning back to the soldier and ask him some question, "I have sensed you work, but what I want to ask you now is that the man we expect him to help them is there or not?"

"From the information we get from our spy. He is coming sir!" said the soldier in loud clear voice.

"Then…2 days after this we will attack…give this further order to all the ghost trooper and tell them to ready to equip all their weapon also"

"Yes sir!" acknowledged the soldier walk outside the room and close the door leave their leader sitting on the chair

"I have sensed that we will meet each other again corporal" said the girl looked at the picture of 5 boys and 2 girls playing with each other "This time I will begin you back… No matter what it take"

 

            “It was a second day since we stay at the Ramona Physic School” Though Minimus wrote what he thought in to his diary “From what Gun told me…today suppose to be the day that the ghost trooper will assault this school”<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

“ As far as I know about this school from my seeker Ratz who gave me information about this place. The Ramona physic found was found by an anonymous person to memorial to Ramona Maiden a leader of the physic troop during the Ice wolf war. The Ice wolf war has took place and suddenly stop the whole world war date by the most fear terrorize leader known as werewolf. Werewolf has affected many things after he actually won this war. He has created the treaty that people must limit their own weapon and eliminates the used of the chemical, or disease bomb. Most famous thing that werewolf does is the elimination of the prejudice between civic servant (soldier) and making the Freedom unit being exist. During the war Ramona joined the allies troop, She has and idea of using physic force to stop both enemy of the world and Ice wolf claw troop. Unfortunately Werewolf killed Ramona. Since Ran was the only one who know what happen to Ramona, I ever ask him but he still so paranoid about this situation now.” Though Minimus gave a deep breathe of sigh “ Guess I have to wait for our headquarter command and some mission…it is now 5:45 PM now I better go join my group for a mission log.”

Operation: Siphon Physic

Location: Ramona Physic School. St. Petersburg, Russia.

            I do not have nothing much to tell since I not have enough information about the ghost trooper. As far as I know the ghost trooper always start some small physic attack first before making an attack to bring their enemy down. I also gathering information that most of their troop are disguise so be careful…Remember that physical strength and force is not the only way to win them…what you believe in your mind is the thing that you can use to gain their victory from them.

Mission log:

-Protect and escort Ran Maggot to the main lab.

-Eliminate the ghost trooper unit if necessary

-Retrieve the new physic protector.

-Unmask the ghost trooper leader.

-Prevent the assault to save the night.

 

“Do you sure that the ghost trooper is here” said one of the physic guard “It look like nothing around here”

“It might seem to have nothing now” Said Gun “But after it really happen…it will be too late”

“Even they come here…they still have to pass us first!” replied another physic guard.

“Well…then I guess I should going back inside,” replied Gun before walk back into the building where Minimus sat on the floor with an unfinished chess match. Gun put his earmuffs back on his ear to make him more concentrated on the game as Albert watched them resumed their match.

“So Gun, Minimus…tell me more about the suspected the ghost trooper leader” Said Albert when Minimus moved his Luke to Kill Gun’s knight “Sure…what do you want to know about?”

“About that Ghost trooper leader…his name again?” Asked Albert watched Gun’s queen killed Minimus bishop “ It She Albert… she” Snapped Minimus.

“Oh…so what is her name again?” Asked Albert hoped to get some response from his friend.

 “Aura…Aurora Barton born in 2518, Canada and became an special alumni of this school because of her pure physic talent. She also being trained by the legend soldier of the UN military Narandon to specialized more on their physic force. Somehow during the ice wolf war, Aura betrayed the UN and join the Ice Wolf claw organization and after the war, she also betrayed her own organization to the Sudden Death and form her own unit” Replied Minimus before Gun gave him a check on Minimus’s king chip.

“I see…so that the beginning of the ghost trooper” replied Albert before Minimus turn his face to Gun who took off one of his earmuff off his ear “By the way Gun…Do Physic and mind force really kill people?”

“From the beginning we think that it was a silly story” Replied Gun” But then again it also can be possible”

Before Guns can answer Albert any more question the sound wave suddenly came out from the intercom. Albert watched at the intercom like what is going on to the machine, Gun started to become serious enough to use his hands close his ears at yell at Ran who checked the security system computer and Minimus who becomes stunned at the sound wave.

“RAN! MINIMUS! CLOSE YOUR EAR NOW!” yelled Gun, but no response to both Ran and Minimus. Gun then yelled at Albert “ALBERT! PUT SOMETHNG ON MINIMUS!”

“WHAT!?…OKAY!” Yelled Albert using his hands close Minimus’s ears…Minimus seem to be little bit unstunned. Gun quickly rushes to Ran, but too late…Ran suddenly pulls his pistol and shoot back at him. The bullet was missed and Gun also pulls his pistol and shoot back at the intercom. The sound wave suddenly stop and Ran dropped his pistol and fall down on the floor as Gun covers his ears that was quite hurt from a sound wave. Minimus regain his stamina as Albert put his hands out of his ear.

Minimus started to ask Gun still-hunting his ears “What happen…I just heard the strange noisy sound and then my eye goes blink off”

“Sound wave assault” replied Gun “ using physic to tune frequent with human brain and control them…ghost trooper was here I believed”

“That sound? How can that sound control people? I not even feel like being control by someone!” vetoed Albert before Gun replied back “ that is because you are vampart Albert…vampire and vampart (half human-half vampire)’s brain are totally created to use 80-100% on physic force, so you will be immune on all physic assault and that why I bring you here…”

“So I immune the mind force…then why didn’t you fall into the mind control?” asked Albert before Gun replied back again put his earmuffs out of his ears “Probably what my father told about these little life saver is true.”

Ran finally regained his conscious and rise up from a ground carefully

“Ahhh…my head” Said Ran still feeling not so good “I think I should get some fresh air”

Ran walks to the window and slowly pull the curtain as same as Gun shouted back at him. “RAN!!! DON’T!”

“Huh?” confused Ran, but too late. The curtain opened shows the view of all guards outside who are now pointing their weapon at them. All of them seem like that they have been controlling by someone. The guard suddenly blust-fire their machine gun as same as Ran and the other dodge down to the ground. Gun pulled out his pistols and gave other a signal to activate the force field belt.

“Ran…. how possible you can reached to the computer and chat for someone in the city to help us?” Asked Gun as Ran responded back in the hopeless voice “This academy was about 110 miles from St.Petersburg. Even though we can make the contract with them, they still don’t want to rescue us since we have our own responsibility to keep this place classified”

“Good! Now we have to stay here and waiting for a good time to die!” said Minimus angrily as Gun looked at all the Mind controlled guards. He saw that they reloading their clips at the same time.

Gun whispered to his teams “Albert…you go outside and eliminate all the ghost troopers, Minimus…you go to the intercom system and shut the sound wave down…here is your earmuffs and Ran stay with me!”

Minimus and Albert agreed as the mind controlled guard firing them another round of bullets.

 “It seem that those mind-controlled guards doing something same at the same time. If we waiting for the next reload times, we will be able to strike back” said Gun as everybody agreed and waiting for a time to strike back.

The mind controlled guard firing all bullets and reloading the bullets at the same time.

“NOW GO!” said Gun suddenly raised himself and start shooting at them as Albert quickly jump off the window and running to the out of the assault range and Minimus going opened the door behind him and move forward. 

  Some of the soldier fallen to the ground after being hit by one single spark bullet, but some of them finished reloaded their machine gun and strike back at Gun. Most of the bullet was prevented by Gun’s shield belt. Gun ducked to the floor, reloading his pistol, and fight back again hope that he would take more than 25 mind controlled soldier down before he lose all the force field power and get toast.

Meanwhile on the other area the group of a people with light blacken uniform standing outside about 4 Kilometers far from where Gun still fighting with the mind controlled guard. Some of them touching their head and close their eyes and one of them using his scope looking at Gun counter with his enemy hopelessly.

“Seem like he have a quite fine force shield” said the man with a scope “Too bad that soon we will be killed” 

The man rise of his scope again and found out that Albert who said hi to him blocked his scope view.

“What the?” The man suddenly pulls down his scope and attack Albert with a force ball. Albert flew himself high enough to dodge the ball and grinned at them evilly “Hmm…so you are the ghost trooper don’t you? Now go ahead! Attack me make my night! I’m quite bore of not using my power for a long time!”

Many ghost troopers suddenly yelled in pain when the gigantic fireball hit them. Many of them fight back with their physic powers, but it seem to be useless on Albert who actually immune to them.

“Is that all you got?” said Albert felt like being scratch on his skin “Okay! It my turn! CROW WING!”

Albert begins to cast an intensive wind under his feet and spread them quickly, which pass the entire ghost troopers out right away. 

The mind-controlled Guards suddenly reacted franticly before fall down to the ground. Gun stood up from a ground and found Albert waving from the far side area from where he is. Gun then looked around the area and found out that Ran was somehow gone.

“Where Ran?” said Gun sensed something terrible will happen to both Ran, and Minimus. Gun walks inside still alerted and ready for any encounter.

 

Meanwhile Minimus was making to the main security computer, hacked into the main program and used Ratz to inject virus into the security system, which shut down the whole intercom units. Minimus can see the entire mind controlled people in the security view start to fall to the ground.

“All Intercom system deactivated,” said Ratz glad fully

“Thank…I will put 50 megabyte on your server next time” replied Minimus closed his laptop then quickly pull his pistol and turn around to see if someone there.

He thought he felt that someone just come into the room. He then open his laptop again as Ratz asked him a question

“What happen? You just shut me off!”

“Sorry Ratz” said Minimus “I just had a strange feeling of not being alone here I just…” Explained Minimus a strange wire came over his head to his neck.

The wire suddenly tied his neck, which suddenly make Minimus unable to breath. Minimus tried to knock the dark figure behind his back, but the wire was tied too much make his become more weaker. Suddenly Minimus use his last strength threw the dark figure behind him to the desk. The dark figure hit the desk hardly enough to pass it out. Minimus coughed a couple of time until he felt better and gasp himself for a breath. He then rise up to look at the dark figure, which he recognize it somewhere.

“Ran?” Said Minimus looked at Ran touched his head and moan in pain “You! You! Traitor!”

“I suppose to said it was you! That said about killing GUN!” replied Ran angrily “I heard you said before you go that you will kill Gun!”

“But I didn’t said anything! Why I want to kill my only friend I have in my true world? (Most of the hackers in future called to surface area a true world since they lived underground the cities)” vetoed Minimus

Ran thought at him before bonking his head “Darn! I must be confuse by the ghost trooper inter-mind (talk to the enemy’s mind to convert them to fight their own side) tricks…Sorry I didn’t mean to hurt you…I just afraid that werewolf might take Gun again”

“Werewolf?” said Minimus curious “ But I thought it was a silly tale that use to scare a children!”

“It is a silly tale” replied Ran “But it is true in the history that he take over the world and sign an world peace treaty…I don’t know much about it, but I know that he will be angry if he found out that his friend Gun was dead!”

Minimus looked more confused and puzzled

“I will tale you later, but we must find Gun first!  He must be at the lab now and I surly that Aura will looking for him too!” Both Minimus and Ran rush out to the door letting the Ratz in the screen server yelled at them.

“Hey! Hey!” sighed Ratz before making auto shut down on Minimus computer.

 Meanwhile Gun finally reached the labotary. There is no sigh of Minimus and Ran here, but at least he should go retrieve the physic protector. Gun walked to the place where the physic protector is, but stop in the middle of the way. He put a soldier chess chip out of his pocket and throws it to the floor. The chip suddenly caught in flame.

“Aura…I know you are here…I not falling to that old physic traps and I will not kill you, so come out now”

The figure of a girl suddenly appeared on the left side of the hallway. The girl seems so young, yet she wearing dark blue uniform.

 

 Aura stopped a little bit far from Gun and starts to giggle at him. “Seem like that trick is so old for you corporal…I hope I can do better than that to get you down” 

“Now give me back a real physic protector back also” said Gun coldly as the girl sighed and turned Gun a strange ball-liked item before Gun asked her a question  “Now tell me…why did you join Prakarn troop? Why don’t you goes around the world as you ever said before we broke our organization?”

“It for our glory corporal” said Aura “We not appreciated how we being mistreat…Prakarn told me that you aren’t strong enough to give the harsh penalty to people who underestimated us”

“You must be misunderstood Aura…They stopped now! Every talented people are now equal! As the treaty said” vetoed Gun

“ You are the one who misunderstood corporal! Because you just like them!” Said Aura before crying out loud “They treat us like animals not humans! I have been separate from my parent because of this mad monster who interested us just because we are unique than other! They should suffer of what they do to Prakarn! Mina! Garrison! And Me! Wouldn’t you be understood that they just lie to keep themselves! Alive! If we not destroy them now, then we be back again.”

“The military already suffered enough!” snapped Gun loudly “If we start to kill more people, the citizens will be suffered instead!”

Aura has stunned by what Gun said. She raises her face down before saying back to him meanly “So…are you going to join the sudden death? Corporal?”

Gun Suddenly sigh in disappointment before said to Aura coldly “No” Gun then raised his pistol ready for a consequence before Aura replied back at him meanly “Then I have no choice only to take you down as the order”

Aura flew herself up high as Gun feels something going toward to him from the ground. He dodges away from where he it as the floor suddenly being push by something that heavy enough to make the floor a big hole on it. Gun runs again as he aims his pistol at her head. The bullets suddenly stop before it reaches Aura. The bullets fall to the ground as Aura continues her force to stomp him. Minimus and Ran finally make it to the labotary.

“GUN! AURA!” yelled Minimus rushing to him as Ran pull him back to the door “Don’t go…you might fall to the trap”

Finally one of the gravitone ball directly hit at Gun, which sent him down and to the ground, the force ball push him hardly.

Aura smiled at victory before saying something to Gun “ Seem like I win again! Corporal you seem to lose me every times!”

“AURA STOP THIS!” yelled Minimus “IF YOU MANAGES TO TAKE MY FRIEND THEN I WIL….”

Before Minimus can said anything the strange force ring suddenly tied him up

“Will what! Minimus? . How could you win the great physic force? There is no way for you to…”

Suddenly the red thick rays suddenly pass by Aura and go though the wall. It was Ran pointing at a laser pistol at her. Aura suddenly creates a full force and throws it at him. Ran manages to avoid and hide at the other room. Aura shoots the physic balls continuously to him.

This causes the gravitone that still on Gun started to become least powerful enough for him to get out. Gun suddenly looked at Aura before he decided to reload more spark bullets, pointed his pistol at Aura, and put his right-hand over the pistol double fire function.

“ I don’t want to do this… But it seem like I have to end this thing!” Murmured Gun before Yelling at Aura

Aura Suddenly realized Gun voice and turn her face at him. He was now looked as mean as the time he duels with Garrison.

“It seem like this is goes too far,” said Gun coldly “Aura…it seem like I have to teach you not to underestimate people.

“How could you teach me more?” Said Aura grinned evilly at Gun  “Since I stay with the sudden death, I learn anything enough to eliminate you! And since you not decide to join us! I will eliminate you as everybody here!”

“Then we will have a deal…I will hurt you in one turn, but if I miss, you have to leave everybody alive and Prakarn can come here and get me” said Gun coldly “ How was that deal?”

“NO! GUN DON’T!” vetoed tied Minimus as Ran tried to stop at him.

Aura suddenly smiled happily before response at him “Sure! We can make that a deal!  Everyone will be glad to get you back!”

Gun looked at Aura before he smiled back at Minimus and Ran and response “Minimus, Ran…you can go outside I can handle this thing. If I not…tell my sister that I will be gone for a while” both of them agreed as they ran outside.

The place suddenly quite as Gun becomes to look likes a wolf stalking for its prey.

Minimus and Ran stop just outside the lab when all the sudden the firing sound can be heard enough to chill their heart. They waited for a while until the lab suddenly opened in the figure of someone they glad to meet.

“GUN!” shouted Minimus “You…win?”

Gun nodded raised down his pistol that has a smoke came out of its tip. Behind Gun was a giant hole that breaks thought inside out of the lab.

“What happen to Aura?” said Ran curiously “How did she lose?”

Gun smiled back at Ran

“Well…. what could we said…she just can’t afford to lose and flew away. I think the ghost troopers and the Sudden death won’t mess up this place for a while”

Ran nodded as he looked at one of the sleep student and sighed

“Gun…. Tomorrow…remind me that there will be no school tomorrow due to the damage in this school today”

 Gun nodded as he finally sat down to the ground and relaxed

Meanwhile at the sudden death head quarter, Garrison trying to bind Aura would that was cause by the real bullet on her chest.

“Seem like our corporal give you his normal consideration…Right? ” Smiled Garrison, but no response from Aura as he finished binding Aura wound after he takes the bullet out of her chest.

“Good as new!” said Garrison “You can go back to your room…I will Prakarn said that you already do your best to bring him back, so he might assign you more mission at the further time”

Aura walked back to the room. She sat on her bed and though about what happens at the duel. She didn’t though that Gun does use his real bullet to shoot hers.

“Why? Corporal” murmured Aura as she watched at the picture she has “Why don’t you understand me?”

 

            After the night of the big battle, Gun and his team received the completed physic protector as Ran said that they could visit Ramona again. After 3 hours of traveling by special plane back to freedom head quarter at England, Minimus opened his room and sigh when he finally makes it back to his room at night. Minimus opened his laptop and begin to chat with someone.

Dyon: not at all! He still obeys Amadeus, but we still take care of him.

 

Wallace: Great! I will visit the world sometime.

 

Dyon: Nice! I will wait for you there! Anymore question you need to know?

 

Wallace: Yes…. about Ran Maggot…He told me something yesterday about werewolf…

 

Dyon: werewolf? Amazing….
