Pure Facts
Ratsu Reima is a 31-foot � tonner (FinnFlyer 31). The beautiful boat with its professional crew is without a doubt one of the fastest at the Gulf of Finland!
The Races
One of our best achievements is the victory in last year's (1999) Helsinki-Tallinna Race. Although we sailed in the IMS3 class, we won all the bigger boats, too.
The Crew
Team Ratsu Reima from left: Antti Salonen, Jouni Hirvenkivi, Tuomo Peltonen, Erkki Sarkkinen, Matias Sarkkinen and Junnu Vihavainen. Year 2000 we have a bit different combination.
Team Ratsu Reima consists usually of six men. Erkki (skipper), Jouni (navigator), Matias (gast), Tuomo "Isopumppu" (gast) are the constant members. For shorter races five or even four men is enough (depending on the weather).

80' ILC IMS Maxi Cookson Boatbuilders
Even if Mumm 36 is already a bit old construction it is still a super competitive racer. As far far as I know, there are no Mumm boats in Finland at the moment. Even the ILC-30 boats should have hard times keeping pace with this cannon ball!
