| The Radio Amateur Telegraph Society was formed in 1990 as the R.A.T.S. of British Columbia. Its purpose was to promote activity and good operating practices and to provide Emergency Communications. During the first year the organization grew slowly, but by 1997 there were 110 members including families and still growing. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The Club dues is $25.00 per year for Master member. A Senior membership with the proof of age over 65 is $15.00 dollars per year. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| There are also available a Family membership for members of the family, who are R.A.T.S. memberss in additon to the prime member. Family Memberships are $5.00 per year for each additonal family member. Family members do not received copies of the Club news letter nor can vote in an elections. but can be participate in all other Club activities, awards and contests. Family members must all reside at the same address as the primary member. Family membership runs concurrently with primary membership. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| It is easy to become a member of the Club. All you have to do is complete the application form, mail it along with your first year dues payable to the Radio Amateurs telegraph Society. Upon approval of your application, you will received your Certificate of membership accompanied by our Club Roster. You will also entered in the computer data base and will begin receiving your copy of the Club news letter quarterly.
