USS New York


It was built with 24 tons of scrap steel from the

World Trade Center.

It is the fifth in a new class of warship - designed for missions that include special operations against terrorists. It will carry a crew of 360 sailors and 700 combat-ready Marines to be delivered ashore by helicopters and assault craft.

Steel from the World Trade Center was melted down in a foundry in Amite, LA to cast the ship's bow section. When it was poured into the molds on Sept 9, 2003, 'those big rough steelworkers treated it with total reverence,' recalled Navy Capt. Kevin Wensing, who was there. 'It was a spiritual moment for everybody there.'


Junior Chavers, foundry operations manager, said that when the trade center steel first arrived, he touched it with his hand and the 'hair on my neck stood up.' 'It had a big meaning to it for all of us,' he said. 'They knocked us down. They can't keep us down.. We're going to be back.'


The ship's motto? 'Never Forget'

My Son-in-law was suffered with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia for the last 2 weeks and passed away on 19th morning by 5.20 AM. we didn't identify the disease until it costs his life. He is 26 years and my daughter is 20 years. We spent lot of money but we didn't survive him form it.

Please pray for my son in law's family and my family. We are encouraging my daughter to start a new life by concentrate on education to stand firm on her own feet in her life. Please pray for my daughter's future life.

Dear brothers and Sisters,

Our country is in a great trouble at present. Terrorists attacked Mumbai, the Indian financial capital on Wednesday by 10.30 PM and it is still continuing with bomb blasts, explosions and firings in at least 10 places of posh hotels. The terrorists are suspected that they are belongs to Muslim extremist groups motivated from Pakistan.

As per the reports, they targeted mainly the foreign people (Tourists) mostly USA and England. They killed 125 people including 6 foreigners and 14 police persons. There are 327 people injured and the Terrorists caught 150 tourists/residents of the hotels as hostages including some foreigners. Police persons (National Security Guards) killed 7 Terrorists and caught 2 terrorists alive in their encounters. The encounter operations are still going on even after these 24 hours.

Trains and Flights were cancelled due to these attacks and Government declared high alert in the country. Government saying that the situation is under control.

Please pray for the safety of our country and for the safety of the people who are in the hostages of Terrorists including the people of foreign countries.
