Updates of the month of May 2007

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Greetings and Peace to you in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

I would like submit the monthly report for the month of May 2007. I have received wonderful ministry news from our fellow brethren who are working for His kingdom in Rajahmundry area. Even though I am unable to coordinate all the programmes properly due to my mother’s hospitalization, all my co servants worked hard and make the programmes successful. The following are some of the good works conducted during the month of May 2007.

1. 02.05.2007 – Women Bible Camp Jambupatnam: Women Bible Camp was conducted at Gadala by Mrs. K. Lilly Subhashini and P.Sujnana Kumari with all the women of the congregations of Gadala, Butchimpeta, Gummulu, Madhurapudi, Korukonda, Jambupatnam, West Gonagudem, Kanupuru and Rayudupakalu and Ratnampeta.
2. 11.05.2007 – Preachers Fellowship Meeting: Preachers Fellowship Meeting was conducted at Jambupatnam. 18 Preachers and 12 youth attended for this meeting. The subject taken for discussion is “False Teachers and the False Doctrine”.
3. 18.05.2007 & 19.05.2007 Public Gospel Meetings at Munagala Village: We have conducted 2 day Gospel Meetings at Mungala. One of our IBS students B.V.raghava initiated this meeting and started new congregation there. Five people are born again in Christ.
4. Youth Bible class at Butchimpeta: At Butchimpeta Congregation youth Bible class was conducted by Bro. Solman, Bro. Moses, Bro. Ratna Raju etc, as some youth of the local congregation and some youth from Lutheran Church raised some douts about the Church and the Infant Baptism. The youth was realized and some of the Lutheran youth are going to come to the true Church.
5. 28.05.2007 & 29.05.2007 Public Gospel Meetings at Ratnampeta of Rajahmundry: We have conducted 2 day Gospel Meetings at Ratnampeta. Four people came forward to born in to Christ. They have some doubts on Baptism and the Church. So we advised them to listen more about Baptism and the new Testament Church. And they also requested the same to get realized and more knowledge about the Church and Baptism. I believe that they will join in the body of Christ within the month of June.

5. Public Gospel Meetings – 2 Places.
6. New Congregations started – 1.
7. Street Meetings – 26
8. Cottage Meetings – 38

I would like to put before you the following prayer requests:

1. We are facing several pressures from the denominational people as well as the Hindu community in our area. Please pray for the protection of the Preachers.
2. Pray for the new congregation and the preacher at Munagala village.
3. Pray for the expansion of the Lords work in this area.
4. Pray for the Preachers who are struggling for their livelihood.
