| Rat Landing is located on the Chowan River just south of Winton, North Carolina. All of your flying will be done "up and down" the Chowan river. Rat landing is accessible by landplanes from the Ahoskie Tri-County Airport, 15 miles away (ASJ). Most of the ground instruction is conducted at the Tri-County Airport. Rat Landing is on the 310 radial, 2 DME from the Cofield VOR. It is not on a map.(yet) | ||||||||||||
