Horror and doubt fill my
eyes as I gaze outwardly
Under a mask of decor, you
all are hollow shells
Many of you know not even
your true purpose
Always you strive for quick
pleasure and satisfaction
Never do you stop to enjoy
what this world has to offer
Innocence is what you feign
when asked about war
Terrible lies you tell,
as you pollute the water and the skies
Yet, there are those who
still preach that humans are basically good
