Snowflakes fall from the sky
My face buried beneath veil
of wool
Hands clutched together for
warmth
I walk alone down a crowded road
People pass, but don't look
toward me
I don't really care
Lights twinkle on rooftops
Trees alight in living rooms
I enter school and head toward
class
But when it's over
And I return home
The winds will be still colder
I will sit in my apartment
Tears streaming down my face
and know that I'm alone for
another Christmas
