          These are your stories, and they can appear in a new outlet. These stories define you, who you are in relation to yourself, your past and the current relationship that you have with the 12 step groups, as they, have come to exist in the USA today.

             Here I'll present you with an idea, to use a newer format, than you are usually used to. You will be able to share your vision, mission or statement, about almost any topic that you wish to share with the public, about your experiences, the 12 step horror stories, as you experienced them, firsthand. With almost no holds barred. There are few rules when it comes to your,   First Ammendment Rights.


              Aside from the Court cases, which guarantee us the right not to be coerced into any sort of mandatory service to, or for the 12 step groups. Going public and telling the truth about your experiences with the 12 step groups, will do more than break through the myths which pervade society, and which have been created around the 12 step groups, and the whole of the addictions treatment industries in general, which have perpetuated the disease concept of addictions treatment, to the point where through, ongoing public relations campaigns, the whole of society, including the medical community accpets it as Gospel. This has kept the 12 step groups with its disease concept, and its "the group first, above the individuals rights" attitude, number one as the preferred method of treatment for addictions.
The visual format which I want to present to the public, has potential to reach more individuals who are actually unaware, or uneducated as to what the treatment industries are about. If they know anything at all, it is based on the misleading public relations and image campagn which has existed for decades. It will put the medical and therapeutic community on NOTICE, in the public eye. WE as ex steppers agree that the CULT of the 12 steps brainwash, and they have been less than candid with the public also.

              This new and exciting visual format is digital media, television! Public Access cable television. This is an exciting concept! This form or presentation can take on any topic dealing with the 12 step concept of treating addictions, and step horror stories! To not only present them intelligently, but put real faces and names to them. This is to be done by you, in your own words, with your own topics and your own concepts. It is all about you, and will not be a pro step recovery program.

WHAT BETTER WAY TO GAIN PUBLIC SUPPORT AND UNDERSTANDING? AFTER   THE COURT CASES THERE IS NO MORE IMPORTANT WORK, THAN TAKING IT PUBLIC..

What better way to target and reach more than just a very small targeted segment of the population, on such an important issue? Such as ex-steppers only. With this type of publicity, there may be more favorable legislation, and court cases against coercion and harassment. It also might be possible to cover and interview cases or legislators in action!   In action as ithese issues happen. Here we are going to need your expertise, your opinions, your feelings, about the issues, relating to all kinds of step abuses, coercion, and political influence, surrounding the addictions treatment industries

The topics are many and varied. Make one of your own up, to speak about. Almost any ex-stepper story is relevent to the way ex steppers have been treated, as it relates to CULT behavior, and the decay, decline, and just the shoddy rationalizations foisted on everyone as a healing program that, the step groups find themselves in today. With all the small petty infighting, backbiting, and backstabbing. It was a bad program headed downhill from its inception. It is about as relevent to true independence and healing in the addictions treatment areas today, as using leeches to cure disease was in the middle ages. One might make the comparison with the step groups of the 1920's and the step groups of today, to the inroads made in cancer treatment, vs the treatment made available during the 1920's. Treatment has broadened its horizons, the steps are out gunned, and definately antiquated today.

I had heard at a SMART meeting that it was not necessary to have a God in your life for addictions treatment to work, although it might not be a bad thing, it is not a necessity for treatment to work, as is the almighty confession or preoccupation with your past life

CULTS, What defines them/ What makes the 12 steps CULTS? How did they arrive at this point in reality, rather than stay if they ever were, a healing institution.
