    ANSWER:
    The man had the hiccups, so the bartender scared him in order to cure him.

  3. A man with a knapsack is found dead in a desert. How did he die?

    ANSWER:
    His knapsack is a parachute knapsack, and it malfunctioned.

  4. A man is found dead in a desert. He is naked, and lots of clothes are scattered around him, among other things. There is a straw in his hand. How did he die?

    ANSWER:
    He was on a plane that had too heavy a load. Everyone threw out as much weight as possible, and then drew straws to see who would jump off to lighten the load even more. He picked the short straw.

  5. A man is found dead in a locked room. There is a hook in the ceiling and a pool of water on the floor. Autopsies show he died slowly. How did the man die?

    ANSWER:
    He stood on a huge block of ice with a noose around his neck, tied to the hook. He was strangled as the ice melted.

  6. A man who had been fishing stopped to make a phone call. He died in the phone booth. Why?

    ANSWER:
    The man told his friend on the phone that he had just caught a fish, "THIS BIG!," and excitedly stretched out his hands to show the size of the fish. His hands shattered the glass and he died from major cuts and bleeding.

    ANSWER:
    The cabin is a plane cabin, and the plane crashed.

  8. A man lives on the 16th floor of an apartment. Every morning he rides the elevator down to the ground floor and leaves for work. In the evening he comes home and takes the elevator to the 11th floor. He then walks up the stairs the rest of the way. Why does he do this?

    ANSWER:
    The man is a midget and can't reach the 16th floor button in the elevator. He can, however, reach the ground floor button and even the 11th floor button when he stands on his tiptoes.

  9. Every morning a man wakes up, turns off the light, eats breakfast, and leaves for work. In the early evening he comes home and turns on the light. One night he forgot to turn on the light. The next morning he died shortly after waking up. Why did he die?

    ANSWER:
    He lived in a lighthouse. When he woke up he looked out the window. To his horror he saw a shipwreck, which was his fault for leaving the light off. He killed himself out of guilt.

  10. An old, blind man's house is robbed one night. The next day the blind man dies shortly after waking up. Two discs are lying beside him. Why did he die?

    ANSWER:
    During the night, the robbers decided to play a prank on the old, blind man. They chopped two pieces off the end of his cane, making it shorter. The blind man died of fright and shock when he used his cane the next morning, because he thought he had grown taller.

  11. A man is walking along and sees another man. He continues to walk for quite a distance, and then he sees part of a man. Shortly after he hears a noise, then dies. What happened?

    ANSWER:
    The man was walking along a sidewalk and came to an intersection. The first man he saw was the walk signal, and he crossed the street safely. He continued walking and did not stop when he came to the next intersection, at which he saw part of a man, which was the orange warning hand. As he crossed the street, a car swerved and its tires screeched as the driver tried to avoid hitting him. However, the car hit him and he died.

  12. A lady is walking in an amusement park. The music that was playing stops. Suddenly, she dies. Why?

    ANSWER:
    The lady is a tight-rope walker and is doing the stunt blind-folded. When the music stops it means she is safely across and can step over to the platform, but someone turned off the music early, and she falls off the rope to her death.

  13. Five men are standing in a row. They hear a screeching noise, then suddenly, three of them die. The other two live. What happened?

    ANSWER:
    They were standing under a McDonald's sign, the letter M. The "M" fell down, and its three points killed three of the men. The other two were saved because they were standing under the humps.

  14. At a street intersection, there is an ambulance, a smashed car, and much blood on the pavement, yet nobody seems to be hurt. What happened?

    ANSWER:
    The ambulance was carrying donated blood. The car hit the ambulance, and the ambulance doors flew open. The bags of blood broke and spilled.

  15. A boy is walking along the shore and finds a shipwrecked boat. Inside the boat is a table, four chairs, three hooks, some playing cards, and a dead man. What happened?

    ANSWER:
    There had been four men on the boat, and only three lifejackets on the hooks. There was a storm, and when it was evident that the boat would be wrecked, the men played cards to see who would not get a lifejacket. The loser was the dead man. The other three survived.

  16. It is a hot day. Two men sit down in a bar and order some lemonade. The waitress pours lemonade from a jug into their mugs. The first man drinks his lemonade and is fine. The second man drinks his lemonade and dies. Why?

    ANSWER:
    There were poisoned ice cubes in the lemonade. The first man drank quickly, and finished his drink before the ice cubes melted. The second man drank slowly, the ice cubes in his mug melted, and he was poisoned as he drank the last of his drink.
