Our family of four lives in Port Alberni. A small mill town on Vancouver island. British Columbia, Canada. |

I say family of four, but those are just the humans. We also have a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Bandit. A long hair Chihuahua named Chiquita and an old grey tabby cat named Max. Recently a small ginger tabby kitten fell out of our grape vines. No one claimed him so we named him Henry and he's here to stay |

Mom: Becky, owns a family daycare called Becky's Beehive Family Childcare. I have been doing child care since I was 13 but have only been doing in home child care for about 8 years. |

Dad: Dale, assistant meat manager for an island owned grocery chain. (Port Alberni store)He has been a meat cutter for over 12 years but has only worked at this particular store for 7 years |

|
Son: Zach, a straight A student in 12th grade.
Zach plays the baritone with his school band. He turned 17 in June 2007. He got his learners drivers license the next day. he saved up his money and bought his first car a week before his 16th birthday. |

Daughter: Taryn, in grade 10
Taryn was born with Spina Bifida, hydrocephalus and Arnold Chiari Malformation. She has also developed scoliosis. As you can see she uses a wheelchair for mobility. Taryn is one tough kid who has undergone many surgeries, Her most recent surgery (July 2004) was Aaspinal surgery to straighten her back and insert rods. She has some complications after this surgery and ended up spending almost 6 weekes in the hospital. She had her 15th birthday Sept 2007 |
