Owner Rob Albon has specialized in medical translation, including medical receipts and insurance claims, pharmaceuticals and medical device research (including basic research, laboratory animal research, clinical trials, consent form and other back translation, market approval, adverse event reports, patent infringement litigation, package inserts, bottling, etc) since 1992. He has also done significant financial work, ranging from company financial reports and various financial analysis products to real estate appraisals and bank audits, and, as the former Chief of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's Translation Branch, is also well versed in patent translation. Due to long experience in the field, he is also good at deciphering hand-written documents, especially birth certificates, medical reports, educational diplomas and certificates, and other documents for use in immigration and other areas. ALBONOS relies on Trados and other translation software to guarantee high quality, and, in addition to high-quality conventional translations, also offers human-assisted machine translation (HAMT) notably of Japanese patents but also of pretty much any material at significant savings over conventional translation.
