Optis: The Librarian
Optis works in the small, cozy, public library in a small town outside of (insert random large city with made up name here). This information doesn't matter. What does matter who Optis is, and he is your basic nerd. A lifelong persuer of knowledge and information, Optis loves peace, quiet, and solitude. While not a total prude, he usually cannot stand to be bothered while he's working.
Carries: Backpack containing scholarly works and scientific tools.

Rewop: The Drummer
Living and hanging around Optis has given Rewop a fine appreciation of the scholarly arts... which he promptly forgot. He has a special (almost) soundproof room in the library where he practices his drums. He usually practices all day and sometimes during the evening right before closing (and never getting any better). However, he always finds time to bother, harass, or otherwise hassle Optis without even knowing it. His racous personalitity and lack of coherent thought processes are an annoyance to Optis and others.
