Stand By Me? Ch. 16
“ Princess!!” yelled shin dropping to the ground as the chibi struggled from kyoko’s gasp. The small girl ran across the ground and threw herself into Heero’s waiting arms, her fingers clamping onto to his breast plate in a death grip
“ Megami “ the angel whispered hugging her tighter, his icy gaze melting as he stared into the wide violet eyes of his little girl. His chest tightened as he realised how close he’d come to loosing her. He raised his dark head and nodded to kyoko
“ Arigato…if anything had happened to her.” The gym leader smiled walking over to join mew
“ Don’t mention it he chan…she’s a great kid..Tough little thing too, took a pot shot at me,” she laughed, shinigami looked shocked at this, his eyes going wide as he joined his koi and daughter putting his arms round both.
“ She was real scared” kyoko added, Heero’s face darkened at the thought someone could have hurt the little chibi in his arms, a soft growl welling up in his throat
“ Oh baby we’re so sorry” murmured shin kissing the top of her head “ I swear to you we’ll never let you outta our sight again honey”
“.I..I was ok..If I bigger I’d a omae o korosued em” she nodded seriously, shin hid a smile and looked at his koi “ oh yeah she’s yours he-chan she’s got ya winning way with ppl”
“ Hn” grunted the Japanese bishie, mew sniggered at him, the proud parental look on his face really didn’t seem in character with his customary grunt
While, kei, lese and the others cooed over the latest addition to the ac gym Ele had slipped off into the trees for a moment. She stumbled slightly clutching her shoulder, it was bleeding badly from a nasty wound caused by Wufei’s rage. She dropped to her knees and bowed her head, her hair falling forward and hiding her face. Taking her good arm she pulled out the chain round her neck and rubbed it, her fingers tracing the pattern of the star embossed in it
“ Mother” she whispered “ please………. help me”.
The wind picked up, lifting the leaves and sending them spiralling away as a faint hum drifted through the trees, the sound came nearer and nearer, words beginning to become audible
“ It wont rain all the time…the sky wont fall forever, and though the night seems long…. tears wont fall forever”
Ele raised her head her body filling with a warm glow as in the distance faintly at first but growing stronger a pale green light was drifting towards her. Within the light a shape took form, a tall woman with long red hair that was moving in a non-existent breeze, she knelt by the young blonde and laid a hand on her forehead. The gym leader shivered at the icy touch, her eyes locked on eyes brilliant green like her own.
“ My poor baby” whispered the woman “ her face serene yet sad “ my poor little Eleanor, so much pain”
“ Mother” whispered the girl “ please just heal the shoulder I’m sorry”.
the red head laid a finger on her lips
“ Alright I’ll take it away Eleanor…but it’s up to you to heal what’s in here” she murmured, touching the girls heart. Ele swallowed fighting back tears and closed her eyes
“ I don’t have time” she choked as her shoulder burned and stiffened closing up
“ You swore to your father you’d never do that onna” ele’s eyes snapped open, her mother was gone and in her place was wufei. He regarded her warily his arms crossed over his chest, his eyes locked on hers accusingly
“ You didn’t give me a hell of a lot of choice” she snapped getting up, annoyed at being caught doing that, she turned her back on the Chinese man dropping the star back down her shirt
“ Onna I”
“ Save it,” she snarled her eyes flashing, “ put it down as one more scar to add to the others you’ve given me. I’m sorry you hate me so much chang wufei but soon you’ll be rid of me permanently and then you’ll be happy” she added sadly walking back into the clearing, leaving the dragon with his head bowed, a pained expression briefly settling on his face
“ You don’t understand onna, “ he whispered to himself clenching his fists, turning he drove his fist straight through a nearby tree in frustration as he watched the blonde walk off.
Mew looked up at ele’s approach, being motherly was not really her thing so she had sat off to the side while the others continued to look over the daughter of shinigami and the angel of war
“ Communing with the family Eleanor?” she asked stranding up and stretching, Ele shot her a cold look
“ Will you shut up Miya!? No one knows” she growled. The cat girl raised and eyebrow
“ Not even?”
“ No now be quiet!! Hissed Ele in an urgent whisper, casting warily looks at the others. Mew opened her mouth to say something but was drowned out by the roar of engines and the distant sound of approaching choppers.
“ Company’s coming and they aint friendly” growled lese drawing nearer to her brother and niece and raising her scythe protectively “ give the word kei and I’ll unleash hell” she snarled her eyes shimmering black
To ele’s horror kei was frozen in a look she’d seen only once, when kei first turned up at the gym and had used Shinigami’s rage
“ Trowa” she hissed” glamour!!” the angel of suffering looked across to the braided girl. Her eyes had began to stream tears of green energy and her braid rose as if on the wind, the tall bishie nodded, raising up an illusion round kei to conceal her powers from the others
“ I’m gonna kill her” muttered Ele to herself and glancing up at the sky. In the distance 20 or so black dots were coming into view on the horizon in stealth mode
“ Kuso” she breathed, they were in big trouble “ they must be after Tura”
With a squeal of tyres an assortment of black vans and jeeps came to a halt in front of them, as the doors slid open a variety of figures jumped out all hooded as the earlier trainer had been.
“ Great the fanatical dress wearing division,” snorted Ele folding her arms and narrowing furious emerald eyes at the group.
“ Afraid to show your faces?!” snarled mew gathering her powers again, the figure nearest to them began to chuckle as he raised a pale hand and pulled back his hood
“ Why no Miya not at all” mew look shocked the only person to know her real name was Ele. The tall man smiled sickly, his pale blonde hair nearly as white as his skin
“ What no kiss for your dear old uncle?” he laughed, mew stumbled back in horror as everyone turned to look at her
“ Your uncle?!” whispered kyoko, her eyes wary
“ Oh little Miya doesn’t know me” he purred, “ I am the older brother to her father. I funded his work. I wanted stronger fighters, I didn’t think they were just after a child…such a waste of all that work .so you see…..Miya Myuu…belongs to me. As for the chibi girl, we weren’t done with her she interested me”
Shin and He tightened their grip on their daughter, eyes blazing as the little girl started to tremble, desperately trying to burry herself against them more
Genesis’s leader bowed and stepped back clicking his fingers. The other hooded figures threw off their cloaks and pulled out bishie balls, with multiple flashes the group was soon surrounded and out numbered by the bishonen of the genesis group.
“ We are sooo screwed!” muttered kei; lese stood beside her and spun the scythe lazily in her fingers her eyes locked on some of the darker evolutions
“ Maybe babe “ she whispered, throwing her braid over her shoulder ” but if I gotta go down…I’m gonna make sure I take some a these jerks down with me” Myuu then clapped his hands
“ BEGIN! AND GET THE GIRL!” In a rush a wave of bishonen bore down toward Heero and duo, the two didn’t move, their faces blank as their eyes swam black and the ground began to shake. Storm clouds rushed quickly overhead as a violent wind sprung up, closing round their daughter shinigami raised his left hand and Heero his right
“ Chariot”
“ Brimstone”
Ele backed up dragging kei with her
“ KUSO TAKE COVER AND NOBODY LOOK!! QUATRE!!”
“ I’m here elspeth” he called landing and raising his face heavenward, his body was bathed in light as he threw his arms wide, a translucent shield encasing the group
“ What the hell is happening?!!” Yelled kyoko over a rumbling noise, her hair swirling round her
“ Oh shit..He used chariot” screamed back kei “ hit the dirt and whatever ya do dun look” she continued dropping to the ground with lese.
An inhuman equine scream cut through the air as the thunder of hooves shook the very ground. With a crack the earth behind shinigami split, a great rift opening, straight out of hell came the chariot of Hades, four gigantic black horses pulling a midnight chariot, on it a black figure with glowing eyes towered, his horned head bowed as he swept passed shinigami, his hand taking the scythe that was within duo’s grasp and swinging it round his head. With a roar he ploughed through the nearest 5 bishies, their souls summoned from their bodies and dragged back into hell as the chariot thundered off.
Meanwhile the sky growled glowing red, the first chunk of rock fell smashing straight into a jeep, Heero became surrounded in a black aura as he drew his wings round Hotura to protect the girl.
“ you…will..never…touch ..Her…AGAIN!!” he roared his hair lifting as his power exploded. The sky boiled blood red as chunks of flaming brimstone began to rain from the sky. The night became day as flames poured down onto the genesis group. Three were knocked straight out, various ones had severe burns and trainers ran screaming through the trees on fire
The two-glowed white blinding everyone for a second, then with a roar, shinigami and the angel of war evolved.
Quatre gasped dropping the shield and trembled
“ I’m sorry elspeth,” he gasped panting
“ You did more than enough my friend,” smiled his trainer hugging him “ Trowa go take him home both of you need rest” the leather clad angel nodded and scooped up his passed out koi, holding him gently he spread his ratty black wings and took off for the gym
Mew turned to look at the remaining trainers and their fighters
“ My turn” she hissed her face lighting up with glee “ Mattie” Mateo smirked and raised his hands the familiar blue glow forming
“ Oui Madame, ice wolf bite” the ice flow twisted in front of him encasing a Van and a Vash and hitting a trainer knocking them back
“ Is that the only talent ya got?” asked lese swinging her scythe and releasing a wave of pain at Vegeta
“ .I have a natural ability for sarcasm “ he replied drawing friend ship blade and charging a scruffy looking Kenshin. Lese grinned at him and shrugged throwing the scythe to one side and punching a Relena “ some things are just more damn fun hands on” she yelled
Ele looked around as kyoko’s angels began to battle too, her and mew could more than handle this lot now even with the choppers landing, but this now meant kyoko was one of genesis’s enemies and with a genesis building on her door step that put her at risk
“ Kyoko mew!! You two ok if me and my guys take off?” she called tying her hair back from her face. Kyoko looked up from overseeing heavens attack “ leaving the party early Hun?” she smirked, Ele shook her head
“ Stuff to do babe…kei, lese shin, he with me” Heero growled and handed Hotura to mew
“ Keep her safe,” he grunted, mew nodded
“ Don’t worry” she assured him, awkwardly holding the girl “ they wont get near her”
“ Wu transform” whispered Ele in his ear, the dragon growled, glaring at her as his aura flared green then rose up, his eyes going yellow as his body twisted and grew into a Chinese dragon. Ele clung on, as he took off followed by the demon and the angel
“ Going my way?” grinned lese scooping up kei and joining them
“ Shinigami air huh?” laughed kei
“ Best there is” smirked her bishojo
Kyoko waved as they took off and backed up towards mew as the helicopters touched down.
“ This should be fun,” she growled pushing back her dark hair and chewing her lip
“ I do believe we’ll be sending them home in bits” hissed mew gleefully, readjusting her grip on the chibi and getting ready to send her uncle a message he’ll never forget
“ Never piss off blue mew”
