Stand By Me? Ch. 14
Only semi aware of the tension between Wufei and Duo, Blue walked from
the group to where Daisuke and Nick stood, watching the Kaizers that had both
been the cause of so many problems.
"Kai?" Blue smiled sweetly as she removed her bishie's purple goggles,
hoping to wake him up from his unconscious state. "Can you hear me buddy?"
"Hn." He sighed as he blinked his blue-grey eyes. "Miss Blue, what's
going on?"
"That's what I'd like to know." Blue snapped, motioning for Daisuke to
leave her and Nick alone with the two Kaizers.
"Can I have my goggles back first?" He whined as he rubbed his head.
Blue sighed. She didn't want this to happen, ever, but even though she
held her Kaizer in such high honors as being the best of her battling
bishonen, perhaps the only way to make sure something like this never
happened again was to evolve him to Ichijouji Ken, the light evolution of
Kaizer.
"Kai, no. I just can't do that. Not until you tell me what happened
out there."
Still rubbing his head, Kaizer closed his eyes and sighed. "Please,
don't take this the wrong way Miss Blue, but I just don't know what happened.
The first time I called home, I walked toward the forest, talked to PB, and
then, I don't know what happened after that."
"Honey, it's okay. I'll get you back to the infirmary as soon as we
get home. Just take it easy, okay?"
"Hai." Kaizer whispered as he unbuttoned his purple cape and folded it
in to a pillow.
"Dai," Blue stated as she slapped Kaizer's leg, waking him back up.
"Don't let him sleep. I think he's got a concussion."
"Yes Miss Blue." The auburn haired bishonen jumped in to the van and
sat in the seat facing Kaizer. He immediately pulled a soccer ball out and
began to bounce it from the ceiling above Kaizer's head, which in turn
annoyed the purple haired bishie enough to keep him awake.
"So what's this thing doll?" Nick questioned, pointing at the black
clad deformed Kaizer lying propped against the tire of the van.
"It's one of Genesis' creations. Apparently, they don't think normal
Kaizers are powerful enough by being a dark type. My guess would be this is a
dark/demon hybrid."
"So how are we going to get him to talk?" Nick asked, staring at Blue,
who was leaning over the demon Kaizer, just to make sure he wasn't being
controlled by some higher order hybrid monstrosity.
Blue just smiled as she turned to face Nick. "Well, babe, it's dead.
We just need to get Kai up there to come back to reality and touch this
thing. He'll be able to transfer some of its thoughts to his head, and well,
then we know what happened out there." She tossed the goggles to Nick. "Don't
give these back to him for any reason. I need to get back to Ele and Kei."
"Oh holy shit..." Blue trailed off as she saw Wufei in dragon form,
surrounded by the green aura of his attack.
Releasing Ele, Duo spread his black leathery wings, flying up in to
the air. "Wu-man, come on... take it easy."
"INJUSTICE!" Wufei screamed, unleashing his attack at Shinigami, who
had been hovering partially in front of Ele.
"EL!" Blue screamed as she closed her eyes and tried to extend an
invisible wall in front of the blond trainer. "Hurry up and get away from
them!"
"Shi no hime!" Kei screamed- the junior was terrified, as were the gym
leaders, at the ferociousness of the attack of tsuchinoe ryu at Shinigami,
knowing fully well that Ele was standing behind him. "Just get him!"
"Gotcha babe!" Lese called as she flew up toward her brother. "Ready
to double team 'em bro?" She smiled, pulling out her scythe.
"Of course." A smile crossed both twin's faces as their violet eyes
locked. Instinctively, Duo pulled his scythe out and ignited the green blade.
"Blue! Ele!" Nick yelled as he ran towards the group who was watching
the demon twins battle the earth dragon. "Kai said that the trainer that was
controlling that demon Kaizer works for Genesis and is named something along
the lines of Daniel Myuu."
Both Blue and Ele turned to face each other upon hearing the name.
"Is that your dad?" Ele whispered, grabbing her friend by the
shoulders.
"No. Daddy's name was Rick. Mom was Mary Lou."
"Uncle, brother, cousin? Come on Miya... Myuu's not a typical last
name!"
"No... I didn't have any extended family." Blue turned from Ele and
looked up in to Nick's eyes, trying to probe his mind, hoping that he heard
the wrong name.
"Damnit." Blue whispered as she walked toward the Genesis building.
"And daddy wondered why I disowned the family name and gym. They couldn't get
over using this place to create their monstrousities!" In the anger, Blue
didn't realize that she had started crying, and she instictively leaned on to
Nick's shoulder.
"Blue, honey, come on." Ele whispered to her friend. "We'll go find
this Daniel, see if he's related or whatever, and then beat him down so fast
that he won't know what happened."
"Okay." Blue sniffled as she wiped her eyes, then stared down at her
claws. She had to keep her nails short, since if she let them grow longer
than perhaps a centimeter from her finger, they would start to curl downward,
just like the cat she had been created from. "Family or not, he's as good as
dead now."
