A Fan's Perspective - by Brad Douglas

Ahhh...one of my dreams came true. Yesterday, in the pouring rain, I went to see Princess Princess at the Osaka Kosei Nenkin Kaikan Hall. The show started at 6:00 (doors opened at 5:30) but I wasn't really sure where the venue was, so I went there quite early.

I found it easily and waited outside for a about an hour until they opened the doors. I was on the third floor, row E, seat 63...so I was pretty far away from the stage. Fan club members got all the good seats...and got to buy their merch in advance. (Some people came already decked out in t-shirts and carrying fans.) Membership has it's privileges.

So the show started on time and they played for about 2 hours and 15 minutes, with one encore. The show had a prisoner motif (everyone wore striped prisoner outfits, with some variations (Tomoko wore pink and black stripes, Kaori wore white and black striped pants and a black sports bra and black vest, etc.) The beginning of the show was done behind bars, but the bars were lifted and they ran down to right in front of the fans. Nice.

Here's the set list:
