Comments:
The Japanese Beastie Boys, the Gas Boys first album.  This one was recorded
around the time of the release of the Beastie's "Paul's Boutique."  The Gas
Boys, avid Beastie Boys fans, are prone to copy their heroes, and this is
their attempt to fit the style of that album.  Despite mixing by DMX,
and perhaps at the fault of production by Doc Holiday the production
quality on this one's not too hot.

Comments:
The Beastie Boys release of "Check Your Head" seems to have given the Gas Boys
a window to open up their style, which before seemed stifled.  They're rocking
hard now.  Its a definite improvement, though the weak tracks, all at the
beginning are definite Beasties clones.  Not a bad album.

Comments:
Gult Dep are probably Japan's only "Hardcore Techno" group.  They're good, but
its easy to tell which of this two-man group is the more talented.  I think I
read somewhere that they recently began putting vocals into their music, which
is unfortunate since the music is sufficient on its own, and the only song of
theirs with vocals that I've heard was rather bad...
