Information
Raspberry Lagoon stables is a relatively small stable located on a small tropical island. The conditions and climate of the island are such that it is covered with raspberries during the spring and summer seasons. This, combined with the fact that the stables overlook the island's bluest lagoon, is where the stables received their name. Because of the fact that the stables at RLS are small, the amount of tiniquines that can be housed at any particular time is also small -- No more than ten stallions, ten mares, and a handful of geldings at any given time can be housed.
At RLS, the focus is on quality and not quantity, as proven by our extensive breeding program. The main goal of RLS is to breed show winning tiniquines, so there will be a lot of breeding done between the mares of RLS and the stallions of other stables to keep stock fresh and healthy, introduce show-winning bloodlines, and facillitate interaction with other stables. RLS doesn't breed for aesthetics, but will never ignore tiniquine genetics. Each potential breeding is carefully assessed, and bloodlines are always taken into account. RLS will never breed a mare to a stallion simply because the stallion has a ribbon in a particular event.
