Another morning session with the kids just finished. We planted mustard and cress seeds in the pots after having some recreation time in the gym (I mean sports barn). Then Joanne taught about patience and faithfulness, and we watched The Miracle Worker, a claymation movie about the life of Jesus. (The kids were rather antsy.) I'd never seen that movie before, but I'm glad I have now. I also recognized the voice of Judas Iscariot as belonging to David Thewlis. I'd know that voice anywhere!
Tonight we are having some kind of concert, where the kids (at least my group) will be performing in front of everyone, doing motions to the song "Testify to Love" by Avalon. Good song. I hope the kids give it their best efforts. They haven't been terribly enthusiastic during practices - most of them (kids), anyway. I just want these kids to care, care about praising Jesus - and to love Him.

a few of the mothers there dressed up as the sisters from "The Sound of Music" and sang "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?" ... it was hilarious!
