Hello Aslam
What is your interest in Munda languages and what kind of background
do you have in linguistics? What is the purpose of your study?
Sentence structure of all Munda languages is SOV but this is not
original. There is evidence this came from a SVO alternating with
possible VSO order originally.
I am highly skeptical of there being much of anything in the way of
Munda languages contributing to Indo-Aryan structure. Most of what is
attributed to 'Munda' by various scholars reflects their lack of
familiarity with even the basic structures of Munda languages. On many
levels they are radically different from other South Asian languages,
whether it be Dravidian or Indo-Aryan; they do share certain features
overall, but only in very general terms, with Tibeto-Burman languages
of the Himalayas, but these TB languages also share other features
with Indo-Aryan. In other words, all South Asian languages are similar
to other ones in some respects and not in others, while each retaining
some of their distinguishing features. This is the nature of a
linguistic area or Sprachbund.
