| News - Donkey Kong Comes Home! We may have lost Rare, but the good parts of the deal for Nintendo and their fans are already becoming apparent...Donkey Kong has returned home! According to Nintendo VP George Harrison, Nintendo is developing an in-house DK title, probably headed by Shigeru Miyamoto, as we speak. Some are already saying that this will be the first "true" DK game in full 3D. A large group of N64 owners never accepted DK64 as a true sequel to the DKC games on the SNES, as it didnt revolutionise the franchise, even thought the title achieved wide-scale success. Will Nintendo take the franchise from Rare and change the whole look of the DK series? What will it change? What will it add? Only the internal people at Nintendo know for sure, but with the added touch of magic from Miyamoto, this will quite simply be the best DK title yet. More as it becomes available. |
