A
group of marine
archaeologist who worked clandestinely in
the submerged ancient ruins of Alexandria off
the Egyptian coast, found an artifact with an inscribed
written
in a language never before seen, and carved on some kind of metallic structure
made of a material never before found on earth. These findings were sent to the
Vatican City, but nevertheless authorities refuse to comment on the matter.
This picture was send by an anonymous person but the email was trace back to the
Vatican City servers.

| Organic Mater
found in the Sahara desert by Lansat-5 October 7, 1992 Space and Earth Science, issue 45 |

In 1992, a group of scientist at the Space Agency found that the data extracted from some one hundred photographs taken by the Landsat-5 spacecraft, revealed an astonishing discovery, the sands that cover the Sahara desert are like no other on earth, it contains large amount of organic mater, “ There is no logical explanation fro that amount of organic mater, we are currently discussing some theories”, said Scientist James Verstin.
The Landsat Program
In 1972, the effectiveness of satellite observations of weather had been proven,
but the study of land features was untried. The Landsat Program (originally
Earth Resources Technology Satellite) was NASA's first step, and it was so
successful it literally changed the way we looked at our planet, almost
overnight! An entire new field for scientific study and practical applications
had emerged: remote sensing.
The Landsat-5 was placed into lower orbits than the like the Landsat-4
spacecraft and carried the same improved instrument suites as Landsat-4
including the Thematic Mapper (TM) imaging sensors and to the Multi-Spectral
Scanner (MSS).

New report offers compelling evidence of Mars
life

NASA
scientists created a stir in 1996 when they announced they had discovered
microscopic fossils of life in the meteorite, known as ALH84001.
The meteorite landed more than 13,000 years ago in Antarctica, according to
researchers, where it remained buried in ice until its discovery in 1984.
Critics have countered that terrestrial life could have contaminated the rock
after it reached Earth. But later research demonstrated that the samples came
from an uncontaminated section of the meteorite, the report authors said.

Elemental Discoveries
March 2001, Issue 39
A beautiful and unique molecule in which four cyclopropyl rings are
attached to a single central carbon atom has been synthesised by Armin de
Meijere of the Georg August University, Göttingen, Germany and his colleagues.
Neither of the two commonly used approaches to percyclopropylated
compounds worked so his team opted for a twofold cyclopropanation of
dicyclopropyldiethenylmethane obtained from ethyl 3,3-dicyclopropylacrylate as
the starting material to make tetracyclopropylmethane.
Its X-ray analysis showed this peculiar hydrocarbon to have a propeller
shape with S4 symmetry. The team is now in pursuit of the even more congested
tetra-tert-butylmethane.
More details can be found in Angew. Chem. 2001, 40, 180.
