When the members of Tru Dat rock the stage at your party the fans are left wanting to know, "Who are they?"
That's part of the mystery that is Tru Dat! There are four full time members of this fresh group yet there will always be five performing, the fifth being special guest. When asked why this is so a Tru Dat spokes person told us, " Tru dat like to keep the fans on their toes! They don't want to be predictable anyone can perform with same members over and over but Tru Dat have the depth to be able to inject a fifth element and give their show that unique style."

Peace was our special  guest in Tru Dat's very first live performance.		 "I'm not a policeman, I'm a Princess!"
Princess took the stage in June 2001 for a Tru Dat winter show.		 "I've got the perfect hat for each of you"
Gem impressed all in July 2001 with her contemporary style of dance that left the audience screaming for more.

DA BEGINNING

It all began with,"Hey, let's write a song!" So we did. A song for a family member to be performed at the birthday party. When the crowd cried "ENCORE!" we knew this was not going to be the last performance from TRU DAT.
The Core Four of Tru Dat would work in a special guest for their upcoming events. The lyrics would flow and dance routines followed. Then came Da Management. With so many top managers to choose from we made sure we chose wisely, we needed Quality with a capital K. The only choice: "LOOKIN' HAPPY" MANAGEMENT. The fine team at LOOKIN' HAPPY also take care of our promotional photo shoots to provide TRU DAT with a professional touch.

DA DUO

Known around town as the "Dynamic Duo" the DJ and the Timemaster have taken time recently to work on some fresh, new tracks. Under the guidance of their new management company, "Two Standard Drinks" we will be sure to hear from this class act for sometime. Currently working on their album, "Music To Grow Your Hair By" and they have just released their first single, "Showtime Synergy".


 
DA CONCERTS

The members were all performing individually long before the concerts started. All have been friends for many years but when TRU DAT get together their team work shines through and they become the class act we are all beginning to love so much. Their favourite gigs are the birthday ones. "Yeah the birthdays are the best. When the family has arranged for TRU DAT to perform as a surpise, it's just so great to see look of surprise on the receivers face. It's priceless"

Where will they appear next? This is part of the magic that keep TRU DAT unique. "The timing is everything! We just want to keep it real for the fans. It's all about fun, music and the element of surprise" say TRU DAT.
