The Great War took place about one thousand years ago. It was a war between the humans and all the magic races. Humans sought to dominate the earth, and in so doing they tried to erase the magic races from the earth, because magic was the only thing that stood in the way of them acheiving their dream.
In this war the even the Dark wizards joined the Wizards of the Light and other magic races to keep magic alive. The elves served as scouts; dragons, wizards, and many other magical races fought side by side as "soldiers". The war lasted four years. The humans almost succeded in destroying the balance that kept the whole earth at peace, but the Last Bronze Dragon prepared in case something might happen to her. She passed the balancing seed of magic she posessed to the race of Red dragons just before she died.
Now we are dwelling in the farthest most barren places of the earth, but we are not completely forgotten. We will live on as long as we are believed in.

The Wizard War took place about three thousand years ago. The Dark wizards possesed a power given to them by the Keeper of the Underworld. The Wizards of the Light had a more common power called Additive magic that they possesed from birth. The Dark wizards were sent to destroy the free world of life by the Keeper, his goal was to be set free from his dark prison that he held rule over. The Wizards of the Light were the protecters of the Free.
On the side of the Dark wizards they had terrifying beasts from the Underworld. The majority of these creatures were the heart hounds, large beasts with the traits of a wolf, but the short hair of a dog, they were the guardians of the veil between the world of the living and the Underworld. They are called heart hounds because it is said that they track their prey by listening to the beating of their heart.
On both sides of the war there were special wizards called War wizards, they possesed both sides of magic (the Underworld magic and the more common Additive magic). But these wizards posessed both sides of magic from birth.
Eventually, after eight long years, the Wizards of the Light overcame the Dark wizards, the fatalities were enormous.
