| White Unicorns are very weak and venerable when they are young. For the first two years of life white unicorns are a rich gold color. As they get older the gold fades into silver, and at five years of age their coats are completely white. Their manes and tails never completely lose the silver sheen. A white unicorn's horn doesn't start to grow untill its second year of life, so yearlings look like any other horse, except for their gold coat. |

| The Black Unicorns are the most rare of unicorn races, besides the purple unicorns. They are completly black with a blaze on each of their foreheads; the blaze is the shape of a crecant moon or a star. They were first bred back about five thousand years ago. They are across between the unicorn and a black horse. The Black unicorns had considerable healing power, but also the capcity for destruction. They are larger than unicorns and the biggest steeds. Some high ranking elves and Wizards used them as war horses during the Wizard War and the Great War. |

| The blue unicorns are the only race of unicorns that can fly. They are a light sky blue color and have a rich golden horn. Their horn is also used for healing, and like the Black unicorns, they also have the capacity for destruction. The blue unicorns are very small, about the size of a White Unicorn foal. Their size makes them extremely fast on both land and in the sky. They make their homes on the tops of remote mountains. |
| These are the Purple unicorns, these are drawings of the last two alive. They are rarely seen by human and magical craeture alike, because they prefer to stay invisible most of the time. They are the keepers of the forests. They travel by dissapating and apprating. They dissapate in one spot and apparate in another anywhere on the earth. Their coats have a purple sheen to them. When light catches their coats it shifts betwen shades of purple. Their horns shift between metallic silver and gold, they have healing powers like the rest of the unicorn races, and destruction powers as well. But their powers are only bent towards the protection of the forests. |
