Coffee

I love the way
the intoxicating
rich smell
of rainbows
paper
and quickly sketched
black lines
sneep past smells of math,
heart shaped
(or was it kidney shaped?)
boxes,
newly bought cars
(which have lost the smell of the "new car" so long ago,
and now a musty, somewhat dusty stench takes over),
and new clothes
to remind us
that we really did have a childhood.
